Nevertheless, what sayeth the scriptures?

Galatians 4:30 “Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be
heir with the son of the freewoman.”
Good to be of this attitude. (What sayeth the scriptures?) Humble self, and become as little children. (“And said, Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3)
It is edifying to see this in souls – even though older in the flesh. Let Elohiym be true, but every man a liar … (Romans 3:4)
✱ Just listen to what the scriptures say.

Matthew 22:29 “Yeshua answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of Elohiym.”
Religious leaders.

Amos 8:11 “Behold, the days come, saith ha Adon Yahveh, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for
water, but of hearing the words of Yahveh:”
There is a famine in the land – Land filled with false prophets.

Matthew 19:4 “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning made them male
and female,”
(something that’s typical of the lives of these people: They don’t know the scriptures, and they don’t desire to obey.)

Luke 6:3 “And Yeshua answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they
which were with him;”
Pharisees, etc., should’ve been the ones who knew El’s Word, and they didn’t.

Romans 15:4 “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the
scriptures might have hope.”

Proverb 19:2 “Also, [that] the soul [be] without knowledge, [it is] not good; and he that hasteth with [his] feet sinneth.”
✱ All-important thing: to know the scriptures and follow them.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through
faith which is in Mashiyach Yeshua. All scripture [is] given by inspiration of Elohiym, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of Elohiym may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

James 1:21 “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is
able to save your souls.”
The Word is able to save our souls: searching the scriptures, understanding them, obeying them.

James 1:25 “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of
the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
The Word is like a mirror, for our learning, so we can go toward perfection. Getting corrected by it, reproved by it.

1 Peter 2:2 “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”
We should really desire to know El’s Word – This is how we’re going to grow.
-tables that are full of vomit and filthiness (Isaiah 28:8)
The man that pulled down barns to build greater. (Luke 12:16-21)
All the gain is so vain. “So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward Elohiym.” (Luke 12:21)
The hypocrite’s hope shall perish. (Proverb 11:7) – if El is not first.

1 Peter 4:17,18 “For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of Elohiym: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the
end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of Elohiym? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner
appear?”

2 Thessalonians 1:8 “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Elohiym, and that obey not the gospel of Adoneynu Yeshua
ha Mashiyach:”
Those that know not El, and obey not the gospel. There is a judgment to face. Need to be quickened to that. It is not a coast into the
kingdom. James, John, souls that were faithful …

Matthew 19:20,21 “The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?Yeshua said unto him,
If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow
me.”
This soul not quickened to how serious it was – salvation was not #1. Salvation not as important to him as other things. Be quickened
to the importance of our soul. If Elohiym deals with us about something, be in a place to take the necessary steps that lead to salvation.

Jeremiah 12:5 “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and [if] in the
land of peace, [wherein] thou trustedst, [they wearied thee], then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?”
Take seriously preparing ourselves, getting stablished. The time that is coming – if it were possible, even the very elect could be
deceived. (“For there shall arise false Mashiyachs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it
were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24)

Hebrews 2:1-3 “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let
[them] slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of
reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by Adonai, and was confirmed unto
us by them that heard [him];”
So great salvation: really esteem it, put it first. Not neglect – esteem it. The righteous will scarcely partake of it. The salvation that is in
Yeshua. There is salvation in none other than He. (Acts 4:12) The scriptures speak about it so much. The scriptures were given that we
might be wise unto salvation. (2 Timothy 3:15)

1 Kings 18:21 “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if Yahveh [be] Elohiym, follow
him: but if Baal, [then] follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”
Decree who we’re going to serve. The only wise decision to make: esteem His salvation. Above all things, follow Elohiym.
People are not quickened to this. “Take things easy.” Should be crying, “Hosanna.” (Save us, we pray.) Deliver us.
Satan is openly mocking. People are going along with it. ✱ Pray we could be quickened to go the other way.
