Abstract The purpose of this paper is to introduce and investigate the notions of Nano generalized -continuous and Nano generalized continuous functions in Nano Topological spaces. Also, examine some of the properties of such functions.
Keywords N-continuous, Ng-continuous, Ng-continuous, Ng-open and closed functions and Ng- open and closed functions.

INTRODUCTION
One of the main concepts of topology is continuous functions. In 1991, Balachandran[1] et al., was introduced and
studied the notions of generalized continuous and generalized -continuous functions. Different types of generalizations of
continuous functions were introduced and studied by various authors in the recent development of topology. The concepts of
Nano topology was introduced by Lellis Thivagar [6, 7], which was defined in terms approximations and boundary region of a
subset of a universe using an equivalence relation on it. He has also defined a Nano continuous functions, Nano open mappings,
Nano closed mappings and Nano homeomorphisms and their representations in terms of Nano closure and Nano interior.
Bhuvaneswari[2] et al., was introduced & studied the Nano generalized closed sets, Nano -generalized closed set and Nano
generalized -closed set in Nano topological spaces.

Definition: 4.1 A function f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) is called Nano -generalized continuous (briefly Ng-continuous) if f -1(S)
is Ng-open (resp. Ng-closed) in (U, R(X)) for every Nano open set (resp. Nano closed set) S in (V, R(Y)). That is, if the
inverse image of every Nano open (resp. Nano closed) set in (V, R(Y)) is Ng-open (resp. Ng-closed) in (U, R(X)).
Theorem: 4.2 Let U and V are any Nano Topological spaces. Let f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) be Nano continuous function. If f is
Nano continuous function, then f is Ng-conitnuous but not conversely.
Proof: Let S be any Nano closed set in (V, R(Y)). Then f -1(S) is Ng-closed in (U, R(X)). Since, [2] every Nano closed set is
Ng-closed. Hence, f -1(S) is Ng-closed in (U, R(X)). Therefore, f is f -1(S) is Ng-continuous. The converse of the theorem
need not be true as seen from the following example.
Example: 4.3 Let U = {a, b, c, d} with U/R = {{a}, {c}, {b,d}} and X = {a,b}. Then, R(X) = {U, , {a}, {a,b,d}, {b,d}}. Let V
= {x, y, z, w} with V/R = {{y}, {w}, {x,z}} and X = {x,y}. Then R(Y) = {V, , {y}, {x, y, z}, {x,z}}. Define a mapping
f: UV as f(a) = z; f(b) = x; f(c) = w; f(d) = y. Then f is Ng-conitnuous but not Nano continuous as the inverse image of a
Nano closed set {a, c, d} in V is {x, y, z} is which is not Nano closed in U.
Theorem: 4.4 Let f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) be Nano continuous function and U&V are any two Nano Topological spaces. If f
is Nano -continuous function, then f is Ng-conitnuous but not conversely.

Definition: 5.1 A function f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) is said to be Ng-open (resp. Ng-closed) function if the image of every
Nano open (resp. Nano closed) set in (U, R(X)) is Ng-open (resp. Ng-closed) in (V, R(Y)).
Theorem: 5.2 Let f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) be a function. If f is an Nano open function, then f is Ng-open function.
Proof: Let f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) be a Nano open map and S be a Nano open set in U. Then f(S) is Nano open and hence
f(S) is Ng-open in V. Thus f is Ng-open.
Theorem: 5.3 Let f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) be a function. If f is an Nano closed function, then f is Ng-closed function.
Proof: Let f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) be a Nano closed map and S be a Nano closed set in U. Then f(S) is Nano closed and
hence f(S) is Ng-closed in V. Thus f is Ng-closed.
Theorem: 5.4 A function f: (U, R(X))(V, R(Y)) is Ng-closed if and only if for each subset B of V and for each Nano open
set G containing f -1(B) there exists a Ng-open set F of V such that B F and f -1(B) G.
Proof: (Necessity) Let G be a Nano open subset of (U, R(X)) and B be subset of V such that f -1(B) G.Define, F = V-f(U-G).
Since, f is Ng-closed. Then F is Ng-open set containing B such that f -1(F) G.
(Sufficiency) Let E be Nano closed subset of (U, R(X)). Then (f -1(V f(E)) (U E) and (U E) is Nano open. By
hypothesis, there is a Ng-open set F of (V, R(Y)) such that V f(E) F and f -1(B) U E. Therefore, E U-f -1(F). Hence,
V F f(E) f(U-f -1(F)) V F. Which implies that f(E) = V F and hence f(E) is Ng-closed in (V, R(Y)). Therefore, f is
Ng-closed function.
Theorem: 5.5 If a function f: UV is Nano closed and a map g: VW is Ng-closed then their composition gf: UW is
Ng-closed.
Proof: Let H be a Nano closed set in U. Then f(H) is Nano closed in V and (gf)(H) = g(f(H)) is Ng-closed, as g is Ng-closed.
Hence, gf is Ng-closed.
