World Cup-style racing open to all comers
Ski yourself into a part of Michigan ski racing history by being a part of the ultimate
open racing series in the state - including a slalom race on the fabled Hemlock run
in honor of Boyne USA founder Everett Kircher, and a technical giant slalom hosted
by Michigan’s six-time national champion and Olympian, Cary Adgate.

• Age-Class and Open-Class race awards

• Field size limited to 80
• On-site professional announcing & music
• Events held on best race terrain available in Lower Michigan
• High School racers welcome - chance to race on venues of future state
championship races. (Note: juniors and younger not eligiible for some awards.)

Adgate Trophy – Saturday, February 27th Classes Seeding

9:00 am - 11:30 am Registration & check-in for both races NOTE: All experienced racers should sign up for Open Class.
The age classes are meant for racers who are either new to ski
11:45 am - 12:45 pm 1st Run Course Inspection
racing or who do not race frequently.
1:00 pm 1st Run Start
2nd Run Inspection - 15 min. after 1st run completion Open Class Women, then Men in each class, classes in order

2nd Run Start - 45 min. after inspection opens 60 & over shown.
13 & under
Awards - 30 min. after race completion in finish area First run seeding: in order of sign-up within class.
14-18
40-59 Second run seeding: Age classes run in reverse
Kircher Cup – Sunday, February 28th 19-39 order from first run. Open class runs second run
No registration Sunday - must pre-register by Saturday according to first run time: Top-ten Open men in
reverse order, then 11th, and so on. Top-five Open
8:45 am - 9:45 am 1st Run Course Inspection women in reverse order, then 6th, and so on.

Helmets required for all participants. Pay entry and sign liability release at SnowSports
Racer’s responsibility to be ready at start. Late racers start at end of class. Academy desk Saturday, 9 - 11:30 a.m.
Racers missing class are disqualified unless excused by Chief of Race for
sufficient reason, i.e. stopped lift, etc. All racers (parents of minors) must check in
First run DNF’s and DSQ’s may run 2nd run after all classes. and sign liability release Saturday morning.
