Introduction

To identify the current and future needs of


businesses located within South East Cornwall…

… as a means to facilitate the development of


strategies to enable business support programmes to
effectively respond to the needs of local businesses
both now and in the future.

Methodology

• 400+ telephone interviews (CATI - Computer Assisted Telephone


Interviews) and in-depth face-to-face interviews.

– Respondents: Key decision-makers or designated responsibility.

– Face-to-face interviews drawn from telephone survey respondents and


others.

• In total, 1918 businesses approached to achieve the target number of 400


completed interviews (response rate of 21%.)

• 112 “referrals” to Business Link
