Where are computers going?

Do you wonder sometimes if you are missing out on the digital revolution?
Do you have questions you would like to ask, but are worried that they will
seem stupid? Would you like to be able to discuss the history and geography of the internet and where it seems to be heading next? Discuss the
positives and negatives of this digital revolution?
Those of us at the Hub have learned a lot by helping others and we can all
remember when we did not know any of the answers, so for us there are
no stupid questions. Our great strength is that we can work with you, oneon-one, and before you know it, you will be googling really effective questions and learning the answers for yourselfin the meantime, we are happy to be your digital mentor.
Computers and digital technology is changing all the time and Angela,
Puawai and Arahi were very pleased to be able to attend the NetHui in
Auckland from 8-10 July. If you are keen, you will find that most of the sessions are now available on the internet, so you can watch the sessions from
your own computer. If you would like to discuss computer and digital issues with Angela, then come along to the Hub one Thursday to discuss the
latest developments over a cuppa.

For a private teaching

session in your home or
business, call Angela on
021 1234 727. Costs
$25 per hour.
Individuals and nonprofits can borrow our
dataprojector for $10
per time, and for businesses its $20

for your exclusive use.
