Autonratic battery check


Even with power supplied continuouslyto the
meter's memory, the meter's power consumption is
m i n i m a l . T o f u r t h e r c o n s e r v ep o w e r , t h e F l a s h M e t e r
lV employs an automatic cancelling feature that
clears the display approximately 4 minutes after
t a k i n g a r e a d i n go r p r e s s i n ga k e y . W h e n t h e d i s p l a y i s
off , the meter can be activated by pressing the
o n / r e c a l lb u t t o n . T h e l a s t d i s p l a yw i l l t h e n a p p e a ro n
the LCD panel.

To attach diffuser:
Align the dot on the diffuser with the bayonet
index and insert the diffuser's bayonet into the
r e c e p t o r - h e a ds o c k e t . R o t a t e t h e d i f f u s e r c l o c k w i s e
t o s e c u r ei t .

T o r e m o v ed i f f u s e r :
Rotate diffuser counterclockwise until its dot
a l i g n sw i t h b a y o n e t i n d e x a n d l i f t d i f f u s e r out of
r e c e p t o r - h e a ds o c k e t .

T h e r e f l e c t e d - l i g h ta t t a c h m e n t s u p p l i e d w i t h t h e
meter has a 40" angle of view. The optional Viewfinder 5o or Viewfinder IO.II can be attached for
t a k i n g s p o t r e a d i n g so f s e l e c t e da r e a s .
Reflected-light attachments are attached to the
m e t e r i n t h e s a m ew a y a s t h e s p h e r i c a ld i f f u s e r s .

Meter lV, the Booster ll can be used. lts highly
sensitive receptor permits reflected-light measurements in situations where precise metering is not

Do not subject the meter to shock or vibration.
The meter should never be placed or left in the
glove compartment or other places in a motor
vehicle, or eleswhere, where it may be subject

-2O"C, as it may be permanently damaged.
Particular care should be taken not to leavethe
