ARRIVAL, REGISTRATION, AND INDUCTION

Dear Student:
Congratulations on your admission into Baze University!
Campus life is an exciting one. You will have the very rare opportunity of studying under highly
experienced academics from some of the best Universities in the world.
Here at Baze University, the environment is serene, conducive, and very inviting. All
necessary facilities that make campus life enjoyable are in place: Cafeterias, Supermarkets, a
Bank, ATMs, Clinic, Saloons, Sporting and Internet Facilities, adequate Water and Power
Supply, Security, etc. You will also get to meet and make friends with other students from
different parts of the world.
As part of preparations to welcome you on campus, we wish to bring the following to your
notice and possible action:
Thursday September 3, 2015
10am: Enrolment:
(A) All new students begin documentation, registration, financial clearance, biometrics and ID
Cards, as well as collection of Lecture Time Tables and a coupon for lunch for you and your
family, in Terminal II or The Brim.
(B) After enrolment, students who paid for hostel accommodation proceed to the hostels for
clearance and room allocation.
1pm: Lunch for Parents and all new students
3pm-5pm: Enrolment / Room allocation continues

10am-1pm: Induction Programme at the University Auditorium:

Code of Conduct
Sports, Clubs and Societies
Introduction to your Faculty
NOTE:
All new students MUST attend this Induction Programme. Students who fail to attend may
have their admission deferred till January 2016 entry.
1pm-3pm: Break
3pm-5pm: Enrolment / Room allocation continues.

2pm to 4pm: University e-learning training (For all new students admitted into 200 and 300
Levels)

9am: Teaching commences

Registration Documents
All new students are expected to come along with the ORIGINALS and 1 PHOTOCOPY each
of the following items from the 3rd of September, 2015 (first day of Registration):
A. JAMB Admission Letter (where available)
B. Baze University Letter of Offer of Admission
C. Evidence of payment of fees
D. WAEC/ NECO/NABTEB/IGCSE Statement of results
E. Diploma/IJMB/ALevels/NCE/Degree/ (For Direct Entry Students only)
F. Transcript (For Transfer Students only)
G. Medical Certificate of fitness (Originals only)
H. Guarantors letter (Originals only)

Four passport size photographs

J. JAMB UTME result printout or JAMB Direct Entry Printout.


TUITION FEES
1. Tuition fee per Academic Session (2 Trimesters) = N 2,000,000.00
2. Caution Deposit = N20,000.00
3. Application Fee = N20,000.00

HOSTEL FEES
1. New Hostels:
Accommodation = N500,000.00 Per Academic Session (Two Trimesters)
Service Charge = N25,000.00
Caution Deposit = N20,000.00
2. Meals (optional) can be purchased on Campus for about N400,000.00 per academic
session.
3. Laundry can be done at N60,000.00 per session (Two Trimesters).
Please note that Accommodation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Baze University Tuition Fee Payment Plans
Below are the different Payment Plans for Tuition Fees, available to you:
1. Full payment of tuition fees at the beginning of an academic session.
2. Payment per trimester. A minimum of half of the tuition fees must be paid in the first
trimester.
3. Payment in Six (6) instalments: This would entail standing order/direct debit mandate,
or post-dated cheques as follows:
(a) An initial payment of Five hundred thousand naira (N 500,000.00) on or before the
first day of the academic session.
(b) A five (5) equal instalments of Three Hundred Thousand Naira (N300,000) payable
on the first day of each month following resumption of the academic session.
Please note that a 10% penalty will be charged for failed or returned mandate or
cheque.

Kindly note the following:
1. An administrative fee of 10% will be applied at each stage above.
2. There is no refund on fees transferred from one Trimester to another.
3. All refunds are less any amount owed to the University.
4. Students who have been either rusticated or excluded from the University for disciplinary
reasons or for not maintaining minimum standards or academic progression are not eligible for
any refund of fees meant for the period.
