Introduction to Clicker Training

Clicker training is based on behavioral
psychology that marks desirable behavior and
rewards it, using a mechanical device that makes
a short, distinct click sound which tells the dog
exactly when theyre doing the right thing.
Clicker training is very useful for basic and advanced obedience
skills, teaching tricks, agility and more. Clickers available for

Therapy Dog Training

Therapy dogs come in all sizes, ages,
and breeds. The most important
characteristic of a therapy dog is its
temperament. A suitable therapy dog
MUST be friendly, patient, confident, gentle, and at ease in
unfamiliar situations. They must enjoy human contact and being
petted and handled by unfamiliar children and adults.

This form of exercise is fast becoming the best class for overall
health benefits, especially for adults. The slow movements in
each form are derived from nature and significantly reduce stress and tension along with the deeper
breathing for which Tai Chi is known. Studies

Food Styling with Tamra

Beginning students will receive three hours of step-by-step

instruction and you will take your finished picture home with you.
All supplies provided. We suggest wearing old clothing or bringing
a smock to protect your clothes. You will paint a different picture
at each class.

Heres your chance to wow your friends and family

with some simple but unique decorating skills.
These classes will include basic frosting recipes and
techniques. You will enjoy decorating three different gourmet cupcakes
in each class that will be yours to take home and
enjoy. These skills will help you at your next

Cooking with Chef Lucinda

Chef Lucinda will guide you through the
process of making a fabulous light and fluffy
pie crust and a basic cream pie filling from
scratch that can be changed up to make different types of pies
(11/10) or Christmas cookies (seven different types of cookies
from one basic dough (12/16). Join us for the fun and get ready
for the holiday season.

Wet on Wet Painting

No experience or talent required! Paint a complete professional oil
painting in one night! Learn how to paint the Wet-on-Wet
method popularized by Bob Ross and other television artists. Our
experienced instructor, Pauline Stitt, will lead you step-by-step
through this technique that makes it easy and fun to create your own
masterpiece in one evening! Oil paints, canvas, and easel will be
provided. Student will need to supply own brushes or they can be
purchased from the instructor on the night of class.

Learn how to use the CPT manual and the ICD-9-CM to find
medical codes for any disease, condition, treatment, or surgical

Basic knowledge and understanding of the medical insurance

Medical Administrative Assistant

The medical industry is growing, especially

here in West Michigan. After completing
the Medical Coding and Billing course, you
will open up doors to find employment as a
medical receptionist, a medical coder, a
claims processor, a unit coordinator, an administrative medical
assistant and more.
During the 20 weeks of evening training, you will learn and
review concepts in medical terminology (in both English and
Spanish), claims processing, HIPAA laws and regulations, billing and coding, anatomy and physiology, and general medical
