ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible, multifamily properties must:


Receive electric service from PNM
Consist of five or more attached dwelling units, or
complexes of four or more attached units

Comply with applicable laws of New Mexico

Low Income (up to 200% poverty level)


+20% X total rebate amount
Deep Savings Boosts
Based on total property savings/total number of dwelling units
+10% X total rebate amount for 1,200 kWh/unit
+20% X total rebate amount for 1,400 kWh/unit
+30% X total rebate amount for 1,600 kWh/unit

Boosts do not apply to direct install rebates

STEP 4: QUALITY ASSURANCE

Desktop review 100% review of forms and supporting documentation for:


Completeness
Consistency (e.g. model info and number installed)
Customer eligibility (PNM customer information)
Upgrade eligibility (system efficiency and specifications)
Requested incentive project installation costs
No double dipping
Site verification random sample of projects

Verify that pre-installation and/or post-installation conditions match submitted forms


Trade allies have ten business days to correct any failures

PROGRAM POLICIES AND PROCEDURES


TRADE ALLY REMOVAL

Failure of any Trade Ally to comply with applicable laws, codes, or PNM guidelines or any
failure to resolve customer concerns may (in PNM sole discretion) lead to such Trade
Allys removal from the Program.

Example causes for removal:


Multiple failed QA inspections
Multiple customer complaints
Failure to obtain required permits
Misrepresentation of installed scope of work or installation costs on program forms
Charges to a customer for Program direct install measures

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Licensed Contractor in New Mexico, as appropriate for services performed.


Register with the Better Business Bureau of New Mexico
Agree to obtain appropriate permits for all services performed in conjunction with the
Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program, and in accordance with the requirements of the
State of New Mexico.
Carry insurance appropriate for the services performed by all employees and
persons(s) for which the contractor may be liable.
Agree to price for measures listed under the Direct Install heading in the Incentives and
Measure Specifications section of Program Handbook.
