ABSTRACT
Every day the use of TIC is more important for teachers and students.
Although internet arrives as an instrument in which people can get a lot of
current information, also there is a chance to produce and share
information with others around the world. The blog is an easy to use web
side, which allows joining several multimedia tools, in order to obtain a
resource with texts, images, audio and video. This assignment has as an
objective to propose an Edublog for fractions learning support; it goes to
students from first year in Casa Hogar Nuestra seora de Coromoto
private School of Saint Anthony Parish. Miranda town. Falcon state to do
this, it will be an exposition about main characteristics of a blog and its
elements, some services supply of a blog and its multimedia additional
tools. While the presentation of some verified experiences with the use of
the blog as a teaching learning resource, it will motivate the educative use
of this tool. The investigation was guided on a quantitative methodology,
with document techniques based on research works made by experts in
edublogs themes, virtual explanations, and web sides and authors
personal experience. This assignment gives readers suggestions how
apply the blog in classrooms. TIC help to promote communication process,
and teaching learning content like fractions, which is why it is necessary
the incorporation of its educative tool in educative environments.
