About "RAFA FOLKING TRIO & MARY JO"

Rafa Lrez is a Venezuelan guitarist, composer, arranger and
sound engineer, with jazz influences, rock and always open to all
contemporary musical trends and cutting-edge. His work is
haunting the Venezuelan scene for several years with excellent
results. During this time he has composed, arranged, produced
and recorded music for advertising campaigns, theater, cinema,
live events and even educational activities. Participated leading
the AZOTEA GROUP amalgamating the venezolanity with anglo
rock. In LA FOSFORERA GROUP where further his Venezuelan
roots overflow, he has participated in at least twenty albums as a
guest musician, not counting their shares as recording engineer
and / or producer. His musical work has been characterized by
an ongoing quest to achieve that the Venezuelan music,
expanding their ability for develop in terms of sound, originality
and instrumentation. Like performer and session musician, he
had played and recorded with Diana Patricia La Macarena, Maria
Conchita Alonso, Jos Jos, Cabas, and had shared stage with
latin stars like Jose Luis Perales, The Gipsy Kings, and many
more.
Rafa, as is known, have tried to capsize, subtle and freely, the
soundtrack of his own life, kneading this, with his Venezuelan
roots, to contribute in some way, in the evolution of the
Venezuelan culture.
His musical style has achieved , has also been influenced by the
musicians with whom he has shared as Simoza Gilberto , Luis
Perdomo , Willy Diaz , Marco Toro , Gustavo Ovalles , Juan
Carlos de la Cruz , Nelson Crespo, Gonzalo Mic, Durban
Laverde, Byron Marn, Javier Cedeo, Euro Zambrano, Gerardo
Chacn, among many others.
Rafa still involved in arts, culture and festivals organized by
various public and private institutions , both in Venezuela and
abroad , in the "Rasa Fest" in the Netherlands , Festival of Jazz "
Le Sens " in Martinique , activities " La Fte La Musique "in Paris
among others. In this opportunity, he presents a shocking

Makeizo Mendez Jr. (Drummer) born in Maracay on July 12, 1988
from a family of musician begins to take interest from an early
age especially for percussion drums and cymbals and is

gradually evolving and dedicating himself to the music he

studied in Conservatory of Aragua state also the last level in the
technology of Music in Valencia because it was leveled to the
fourth level and only three of six levels Scholarship Workshop
Jazz Caracas course given by the jazz festival Barquisimeto
2013 Scholarship at the School of Modern Music Audio and
Technology Bogota Colombia granted by the 2014 jazz festival

Arabic music, including jazz and serves as a music educator

MARYJO (Voice) was born on May 23, 1995 in Maracay Estado
Aragua Venezuela. He is a singer, songwriter, musician, model
and Venezuelan student, to a very young age; she began her
musical studies and artistic training. Already early on he was
opening field in the music scene of his hometown to participate
in various events of the town, being vaunted for their outstanding
vocal talents.
MaryJo continuous recording during adolescence demos several
musicals and one of these came into the hands of the Venezuelan
singer Franco De Vita, who was very impressed with the genuine
talent of the young, and then, until 2011 with only 16 years of
age, she was invited by him to his tour in Venezuela "Mira Ms
All (Look Beyond)" - in the front row from 2011 to 2012 being a
success in the country.
MARYJO has opened concerts of artists like Jose Luis Rodriguez
(El Puma), Olga Tan, Emiro Delgado (Ex-Pentagon) among
others, and has also made contributions to national artists like
DJ Ruben Amaya and gospel music group Eternal Flame . He first
entered in the radio region of Aragua with the theme "Te Vas"
Author Roman Giacomini, song that gave a boost to his career.
Thanks to his talent and charisma captured the attention of a
renowned Venezuelan music producer, and this is how he
recorded his first full length album entitled "Vivo Pensando en Ti
(Live Thinking of You)" backed by "Manuel Diquez" which is
available in digital format at www.fullnota.com and will soon be
at the national level in the different disk stores, the album
contains 8 songs of which two of these are of the responsibility of
the artist.

MaryJo has made several presentations around the country all to

be very successful.
He is currently doing a promotional tour for his country and now
internationally with the single "Lo he vivido (I've lived)" the singer
Franco de Vita, which already has its respective video, directed
by Venezuelan producer Unreserved Productions. Recently he
recorded a tribute to the English soul diva Joss Stone, with
whom he could share in the city of Montevideo Uruguay in total
world tour around the world.
MaryJo thanks all the media and the general public for all the
support and affection they have given throughout his career, he
is an independent singer-songwriter who with the help of his
team day striving unceasingly to achieve position it as a musical
star at national and international level.
Daniel Mndez (Bass player)was born in November, 03, 1989 in
the warm lands of San Felipe, Yaracuy State, Venezuela in a
family of musicians, his toys were a cuatro, and drums, soon he
discover the passion for music. At seventeen began to play with
Paradigma a band of pop-rock, and was his producer and bass
player, later with Bilbaos playing some Latin jazz, his next step
was like trumpetist at Orquesta Sinfnica de San Felipe
(Symphonic Orchestra of San Felipe), playing with the Ensamble
de Metales de San Felipe (San Felipes Brass Ensemble). At 2009
began to be part of the band Dame Pa Matala, a famous
Venezuelan group whom make a fusion of Caribbean music rock
and Latin, here he is the bass player, choir, arranger and
producer too, with this band, touring on great stages around the
world. Last year was playing some jazzwith the band Juan Marin
Cuarteto de Jazz (experimental jazz), and the Big Band Jazz
Yaracuy and currently is the conductor of Symphonic Rock
Orchestra Yaracay.
