Methods
Both before and during the class we will be using mostly the adult learning theory. By acting out
scenarios, like arriving late, not participating, incorrect use of an agenda, and being unprepared for an
on line conference, will help transfer training showing all the trainees the difference between a bad
meeting and the theory to a great meeting. Another compelling tool that will be found in our training is
video that demonstrates the importance of knowing your technology before conducing an online
meeting. Each trainer will present a topic conjured from our needs assessment. We will act out real
scenarios to show the trainees what can happen if youre not fully prepared. After each scenario we
will then give the trainees an activity to work on. This will help ensure the transfer of training takes
place. Our focus will be learning by role plays and activities, and adding a little humor to help keep
the trainees attentions. We will end each topic with Q&A. Trainees will become efficient in the
concepts taught because they will be using the rehearsal concept in order to store the information in
their long term memory. We will train the trainees in a way that the information learned will stick with
them forever. We want to transfer the training, so every single time they host a meeting they will think
about what they seen at our training session. Therefore, at the end of the training we will provide the
trainee with a level one survey. This will help transfer the training, as well as let us know how effective
our training was.
