Step
1.
Removethecoverofverticaldiscsystem
Loosenoffthesixscrewsontheleftcoverwitha
screwdriver,andthenopenthecovercarefully.
2.
LCDPanel
Loosenoffthefourscrewswithascrewdriver.And
thenremovetheLCDcovercarefully.
BeforeremovingtheLCDcover,pleasebecareful
theflatcableontheback.Firstopentheflatcable
clampaccordingtothedirectionofarrow,andthen
pullouttheflatcable,bothoftheLCDandtheflat
cablearefragile,pleasebecareful.

Opentheflatcableclampaccordingtothedirection
ofarrow,andthenpullouttheflatcable.

measuringboardappropriatelyandsafely.
4.Right Cover
Refertostep2,removetheLCD,Cutthenylon
cabletiewithpliers.Donotcutthewires.
Loosenoffthesixscrewsontherightcoverand
thenopenit.
Whenopeningthecover,pleasebecarefulthe
wire.Pullouttheplug,thenyoucanremovethe
coverfreely.
5.EDMCover
LoosenoffthefourscrewsontheEDMcoverandthen
removetheEDMcovercarefully.Makesurethatthe
telescopetangentscrewislockedupincaseofscuffing
theinstrumentwhenyouloosenthosescrews.
6.Distancemeasuringboard
Settheinstrumenttelescopeinreversed
position,thenremovethecoverontopofthe
EDM.
Loosenoffthefourscrewsonthedistance
measuringboardwithascrewdriver.
Pullouttheplugscarefully,recordthepositionof
eachplugforreference.Pulloutthesignalplug
carefullyaccordingtothedirectionofredarrow.
Finshedthosestepsabove,reversetheboard,you
willseetherecevingfiberisstillconnectedwiththe
distancemeasuringboard.Becarefulwiththe
fragilefiber.
Loosenalittlethesmallscrewonthetopofthe
receivingfiberbasewithallenkey,thenpulloutthe
fibercarefully,andremovethemainboard.
7.Fibers
WeuseforficatefiberontheNTS350series.Asshowninthefollowingfigure,thereisan
mixedreceivingendandwhichdividesintotwofibers;oneisforinsidepathreceiving,the
otherforoutsidepathreceiving.

onesidewithmotorsandreceivingfiber,youcanfindasmallscrew;loosenitalittletillyou

TurntheEDMover;loosenoffthefourscrewsonthemetalcover,andpullthefiberout
carefullyfromtheholeinthemiddleofthemetalboard.

Attentiontothislittletrianglemarkontheedgeof
theverticaldisc,thisisthe0anglemark.
Asshowninfigure,setthetelescopeinnormal,assembletheverticaldisksystemintothe
appropriatepositioncarefully.AligntheholesforscrewsbetweentheEDMandthevertical
disk,andatthesametimemakesurethesmalltrianglemarkisnearbythelowerCCD.This
isveryimportant,ifthetrianglemarkisnotintherightpositionafterassemblethedisk
system,theverticalanglevaluereadingwillbewrong.
Tightenallthescrewswhenfinishedthosestepsabove.Anddonotforgetthewasher
duringassembling.

system.Loosenoffthe4screwstodisassemblethe

Thischaptermainlyintroducesyouthestandardadjustingprocess,thefollowingstepsshouldbefinishedonthe
collimator.Excepttheadjustmentofopticalplummet,theotherstepsshouldfollowthegivenorder;otherwiseyou
cantgetthewrongresult.
Process:

Leveltheinstrumentonthecollimator.Asshowninthefigure,rotate
instrument,makeplatelevelparallelinthecenteroflevelingscrewAand
B,andthenadjustslevelingscrewtomakeplatebubblecentered.
Turntheinstrumentfor90degrees,adjustthethirdlevelingscrew,and
maketheplatebubblecentered.Repeatthesteps1and2,maketheplate
bubblecenteredinabovetwopositions.
Rotateinstrument180.Iftheplatebubblenotcentered,adjustthefix
screw,movetheplatebubbleahalfofthedifference;
