1501 GENERAL DEMANDS

Level of lighting of carriageway is regulated by the size of middle horizontal lighting which is in
accordance with SNiP RK 3.03.-09-2006:
- for highways of I category and in settlements 0,8 cd/m2
- for highways of II category 0,6 cd/m2 .
Scheme of disposition is staggered:
- for highways of I category along the axis of median
- for highways of II category in the shoulders.
Selection of outdoor lighting is carried out with taking into account of architectural and planning
peculiarities of lighting zones and its perception in day, evening and night time. Lighting columns shall be
placed in road shoulders as indicated on the Drawings.
Lighting of the roads is carried out by the lamps ZhKU-16-400 by gas-discharge natrium lamps
DNaT-400 fixed on metal tower at the breadth of the road 9 m and by the lamps ZhKU-16-250 with the
lamps DNaT-250 at the breadth of the road 5,5 m.
Power supply is carried out from the reconstructed transformer substation KTPN-160 kVA.
Connection of projected complete transformer substations KTPN-160-10/0,4 with transformer with
power of 160 kVA to the present air-line VL10 kV is carried out through the disconnector RLDNA-110/200, fixed on the bearing.
Control by the outdoor lighting is carried out from:
remote from packet-type switth
Automatic from photoswitch fixed in RU-0,4 kV of transformer substation
Mains supplies and group nets are carried out by the cable AVBbShv, laid in the bearing and in the trench.
Frames of lamps, panels and transformer substation, normally not under the pressure, but capable
to be such in the result of violation of insulation, should been earth. By way of earth conductor are used
specially assigned protective conductors of cables (zero conductor), directly connected with dead earth
neutral of transformer.

Transportation of the lighting columns and brackets shall be carried out in such a way that shall
not damage the columns and brakets. Mounting of the columns and brakets should be carried out with the
help of assembly produce agreeable to the technical standards. Before the setting it is necessary to check
the presence of surface defects.
Cable and line should be transported in the drums with the indication of the sign of the line and
cable.
Insulators and line and hanging armature should be agreeable to the corresponding standards and technical
conditions. Transportation is carried out in such way that not to admit the formation of the chips, damage
of the glaze, and also swinging and turning of the metal armature relatively insulator body.

Mounting of the insulators and line armature should be carried out with the help of assembly produce
agreeable to the technical standards corresponding to GOST. On the highway before the mounting the
insulators should be checked and culled. Cleaning of the insulators by the steel instrument is not admitted.
Hooks and pins should be firmly fixed on the cross-arm of the columns, their pin part should be definitely
vertical.
Works on the mounting, testing and commissioning of the electrical devices should be carried out in
accordance with work documentation of the manufacturers.
At the loading, unloading, displacement, raising and setting of the electrical equipment should be taken the
measures on its protection from the damages. Setting, assembling and regulation of the disconnectors
should be carried out in accordance with the instruction of the manufacturers. At the assembling and
mounting of the disconnectors should be provided:
- horizontal position of the setting of the skids;
- concentricity of the contact blades.
