Profile of a GANG Girl

Proverbs 31:29/30
1) she's committed: commitment-the act of binding yourself (intellectually or
emotionally) to a course of action.
A committed gang girl will produce committed gang girls. She perseveres, despite
the opposition she may encounter (whether challenges in the family, personal
reasons), she stays committed to fulfilling Gods purpose and committed to
fulfilling the ministries God has placed her in, why? Because she understands the
role she plays, when you get a committed gang girl, you get a GG who
understands that the role she carries is an important role. Whether she's a
greeter, an usherette, Kidz gang, trustee, DHome director, or a worship leader.
She understands that its not about title or position. She's not committed to
position, she's committed to do what Gods called her to do, whether in the
background or before people.
Matthew 6:21-where your heart is, there your treasure be also
She's not easily moved because she's anchored in Gods word, and holds tight to
her purpose.

2) SHES LOYAL-proverbs 3:3/4, says to tie it around your neck as a reminder. To
write it deep in your heart. The strength of a family, like the strength of an army,
is in its loyalty to each other. Mario Puzo
She's loyal, loyalty can be defined as faithfulness, complete devotion, allegiance,
reliability, trustworthy, consistent. All these things and more are sure signs of a
gang girl that is loyal. She's loyal to her God, her family, her ministry, her
leadership, and to her disciples. When your loyal to something, you protect it, you
guard it and will do everything to make sure the integrity of that thing is
maintained.
She's loyal to her God, gives no room for compromise I her walk with God. She's
loyal to her family in that she covers them in prayer, will not abandon them when

they don't always agree, carries them in prayer.

She's loyal to the ministry-cut me I bleed VO.-talk about how this ministry gave us
opportunity. Leaders believed in me, won't gossip about them, instead pray for
them because they are imperfect. Learn from them in good bad and ugly. Loyal to
disciples, won't abandon them when they are rebellious, or don't do what is
asked. Loyal enough to constantly take them before God. Doesn't easily give up
on them.
3) SHES A SERVANT-the true test of a mans character is to see what he does
for those who can do nothing for him. Doesn't need a pat on the back.
Matthew 20:28-Jesus himself came in the posture of a servant.
They say the true test of how much of a servant you are is when you get treated
like one.
She serves with all her heart. You can tell when someone serves out of
obligation, and when they serve out of love, (coffee example: PR, hospitality:
Stacy)
She's ok with being in the background, because there is a greater purpose and
even if she plays a small part, everything she does she does as unto the Lord.
Ephesians 6:7-do as unto the Lord.
4) SHES A DISCIPLE MAKER-she understands that things can't stop with her.
Her experiences, the things that were deposited into her must not stop with her.
She is filled with an urgency to reproduce herself. To be a worker isn't enough for
her, she understands anyone can work. People get paid to work everyday, but
she understands the importance of transmitting values that she's been instilled
with.
Because the world is so big, she understands the need to disciple GGs who will
take their place and reach this world. She understands the role of being a
spiritual mama to these treasures that walk through our doors. Her heart is
burdened for them.
Doesn't hesitate to get personal with her disciples,to be transparent and let them
see her life. She understands she's a model..

5) SHE LOVES THE VISION-cut me I bleed VO! That sounds radical, but in a
time when people are blowing themselves up so they can get 10 virgins and live
in the highest level of heaven, don't tell me that's radical! We would die to see
souls enter the kingdom of God.
She embodies the vision of VO, and lives by the mission statement. She knows
what the heartbeat of this ministry looks like.
6) SHES READY TO GO ON AN ASSIGNMENT-she stays ready til she goes,
she's busy preparing herself. building with her bags packed. She is equipping
herself because she never knows when her number will be called to go on an
assignment. She learns all she can, absorbs everything,asks all the questions,
learns from all her mistakes because she understands that until her foot hits that
battlefield, she is still a private in training.
Can't be afraid to sacrifice, our leaders model that before us constantly. To
answer Gods call is gonna come with a price. You may have to leave all you
know to pursue Gods will. And it won't be easy. Sometimes it's gonna hurt or
require you to die to yourself. But in the end you can't be afraid to sacrifice,
because our gifts we offer to God matter. And when we give up everything in a
sense we are giving as a gift our very comforts and lifestyle so others can
become all that God has called them to be.
