Uncountable Nouns
1. Things that cannot be counted.
Examples:
4. We use some, any, plenty of, a lot of for both countable and
uncountable nouns.

2. There is plenty of water in the bucket.
3. There are a lot of people in the hall.
*Note:
Any is used in negative statements and questions for both countable and
uncountable nouns.
Examples:

Some is used in positive sentences.
Examples:
She poured some oil into the frying pan.
There are some biscuits in the tin.
Somecan be used in interrogative sentences when a positive answer is
expected or when it is an offer or a request.
