Abstract  

This  is  a  paper  showing  the  results  and  of  a  worldwide  question  on  ask500  people  

website.  People  in  different  places  around  the  word  answer  this  question.  It  came  from  People  

from  all  races  and  different  genders.  You  will  get  an  indebt  look  at  different  category  of  this  

paper,  such  as,  gender,  map,  and  age.    You  will  also  see  graphs;  table,  charts  and  etc.  the  maps  

represent  the  place  of  residents  of  some  of  the  respondents  who  took  part  in  answering  my  

question.  The  gender  shows  if  the  respondents  is  a  male  or  female,  and  if  they  agree  or  

disagree  with  my  question.

This  assignment  is  meant  to  see  the  results  of  a  question,  which  I  received  from  asking:  

Is  Physical  discipline  effective  on  young  children  today?    On  www.ask500people.com.    I  asked  this  

question  because  I  felt  that  in  today’s  age  spankings  and  corporal  punishment  only  goes  so  far  when  you  

are  dealing  with  at  risk  youth.  A  spanking  only  last  so  long  until  another  situation  occurs.    I  feel  that  

sometimes  spankings  are  not  as  effective  as  they  where  back  when  our  parents  and  grandparents  were  

youth.  I  understand  that  certain  people  have  different  beliefs  and  I  am  trying  to  see  each  person’s  

opinion.

shows  the  range  of  how  much  money  they  make  starting  with  20  up  to  100k.      The  

purple  bars  show  the  respondents  who  strongly  disliked  the  physical  punishment  and  

their  income.  The  red  bars  show  the  ones  who  disagreed  with  the  physical  punishment  

and  how  much  they  make.    The  green  bars  show  they  ones  who  strongly  disliked  and

This  charts  shows  the  education  level  of  the  male  and  female  respondents  to  the  

ask500  people  website.  The  education  level  began  at  grade  school  and  to  high  school,  

on  up  to  masters  then  doctorate.    The  different  colors  on  the  graph  represent  the  ones  

who  agreed  and  disagreed.    

In  conclusion,  after  collecting  all  the  feedback  from  the  respondents,  from  both  

men  and  women,  I  found  that  the  males  seem  to  agree  more  on  physical  punishment

than  women.  The  males  also  had  more  respondents.  The  females  voted  more  on  being  

undecided  and  disagreeing.
