Simple mounting and installation
Demag pillar and wall-mounted slewing
jib cranes can be mounted on walls or
workshop pillars, installed as free-standing units or attached to machines and
systems. They are supplied as complete
units, including the hoist and electrical
equipment.
If required, anchorages and templates

can also be supplied as extras.
As pillar and wall-mounted slewing jib
cranes can be easily assembled with the
help of conventional tools, you can install
them yourself without any problems.

Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes SSK-KBK
Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes are

characterised by the fact that they can be
installed practically anywhere. They are
completely free-standing and are ideally
suited as workplace cranes, for outdoor
storage yards and loading ramps.
Furthermore, like all KBK pillar and wallmounted slewing cranes, they have a
high lifting capacity and long outreach
in relation to their dead weight. Only a
minimum of space is needed for the
pillar. It can be fastened to foundations
with cast-in anchor bolts, with the help
of intermediate plates, with heavy-duty
anchor bolts, with dowel pins, etc.

Wall-mounted slewing jib cranes WSK-KBK
The decisive advantage of wall-mounted

slewing cranes is that they do not take
up any floor space, as they are mounted
on walls or workshop pillars, or on
machines and systems.
They are particularly easy to install, as

the bracket is designed as a ready-toinstall unit, thus saving complicated
alignment work (mounting materials are
available as accessories or are provided
by the customer).
The braced jib design of KBK pillar and

wall-mounted slewing cranes results in
a low dead weight, and allows the load
to be moved easily by hand.

You couldnt wish for a more effective

solution than a KBK pillar-mounted
slewing crane with two jibs: it takes up
no more space than a single-jib crane,
but it does the work of two.
And as if that werent enough, you can
choose between four jib arrangements
and thus develop additional rationalisation
measures, realising them just as elegantly
as economically.
Foundations with cast-in anchor bolts or
jacket tubes set in concrete, intermediate
plates for dowel pins, anchor bolts, etc.,
are suitable as fastenings.

Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes GSX

and wall-mounted slewing jib cranes
GWL provide maximum hook paths
wherever only low headroom dimensions
are available. They are fitted with lowheadroom T beams as trolley runways
and feature a light-weight design.
Our wall-mounted slewing jib cranes
are used if sufficiently dimensioned
reinforced concrete walls or pillars are
available. The crane hook path can be
determined according to the installation
height. They can be easily fitted using
through bolts and counterpart plates or
clamping arrangements (not included
in the scope of supply, agree mounting
arrangement with structural engineer).

slewing jib crane GSX is 270, that of the
wall-mounted slewing jib crane GWL 180.
Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes GSX

are classified in H2B2 to DIN 15 018.
Following steel shot blasting to DIN 55 928,
a 2K single coat of chrome yellow paint
(RAL 1007) is applied. The electrical equipment included in the supply is complete,
the mains power switch can be locked.
The scope of supply includes the manufacturers or conformity declaration as well as
a test and inspection booklet. If required,
we can supply anchor bolts and a template
in advance.

With the optional electric slewing and

trolley travel drives, pillar-mounted
slewing jib cranes ZSL and wall-mounted
slewing jib cranes ZWL provide ideal
working conditions above all for higher
lifting capacities and longer outreach
dimensions. If the work requires the
jib to be moved frequently, while the
trolley remains close to the pivot point,
a slewing drive is virtually indispensable.
The pillar-mounted slewing jib crane ZSL

has a slewing range of n x 360, the
wall-mounted slewing jib crane ZWL
features a slewing range of 180.
With their anti-friction bearings, ZSL and
ZWL guarantee convenient operation and
maximum operating reliability. They are
easy to install.

Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes ZSD
Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes ZSD are

of robust, medium-heavy steel design.
If required, they can be fitted with electric
slewing and trolley travel drives to meet
the most demanding operating requirements.
Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes ZSD
have a slewing range of n x 360.
Thanks to the compact slewing head with
a slip ring, lift-off prevention and antifriction bearings, ZSD cranes guarantee
convenient operation and maximum
operating reliability. They are easy to
install (agree the mounting arrangement with a structural engineer).
Pillar-mounted slewing jib cranes
ZSD are classified in H2B3 to
DIN 15 018. Following steel shot
blasting to DIN 55928, a 2K
single coat of chrome yellow paint
complete, the mains power switch can
be locked.
The scope of supply includes the
manufacturers or conformity declaration
as well as a test and inspection booklet.
