PRESENTACIN
Apreciados padres y madres Simonianos;

Que nuestros nios y jvenes se comuniquen en ingls no es un
sueo, es una realidad a la que se debe llegar. En el mundo de hoy,
es indispensable comunicarse en otra lengua para abrirse a otras
experiencias, para descubrir y valorar otras culturas.
Como respuesta a esta realidad, se incluye el estudio del ingls desde

los primeros aos de escolaridad, y para ello contamos con maestros
convencidos y capaces de llevar a nuestros nios y jvenes a
comunicarse en este idioma.
En este texto escolar se destaca la decisin y voluntad de las

maestras autoras para indagar, cualificarse, compartir saberes y
producir documentos que apoyen a nuestros nios y jvenes en el
aprendizaje del ingls.
A quienes participaron y propiciaron la elaboracin del texto escolar,

un calido agradecimiento y una invitacin para continuar liderando la
produccin textual en pos a que lo educativo motive a docentes,
estudiantes y padres.
Superar barreras idiomticas es prioridad educativa para avanzar

hacia la meta de Colombia Bilinge en el 2019.
