threats) related to your ability to solve a students behavioural problem case
that you have chosen.

SWOT ANALYSIS
1.1 Introduction
A SWOT analysis is a study undertaken by an organization to identify its
internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as its external opportunities and threats
in order to find solution for some problems. As for a me, it is a tool that can provide
prompt for me to see what is the special traits of the students and also what are the
traits that should be improve in order to help him in reducing his problematic
behaviour.
The students behavioural problem that I could identify during my practicum is
dual-personality students. The student is a Male Year 3 student. In the school, this
student really likes to disturb his friend doing the work assigned by the teacher. Apart
from that, he also likes to bully other friends. The main problem is that his parents do
not believe that he had done all the problematic behaviour as he is a good, polite
and humble at home. He seem like he wants to rebel at the school as in his home he
cannot do the bad behaviour as both of his parents were very fierce and straight.
I will use storytelling method in solving this students problem. I will try to find
the story related to him and read the story to him. Apart from that, I will also ask him
to read that kind of book on his own. This intervention that I will use is also known as
Bibliotherapy. In order to guide him to reduce his behavioural problem, I have
designed a SWOT analysis about him. The SWOT analysis can be referred in the
Table 1.1.
