BOATYARD PARTY BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Christmas Lunch Party Bookings. 2 Courses 18 3 Courses 22. Set menu includes homemade bread. Coffee or tea is NOT included in
the price. Beverages are available at the advertised menu price. Available Tuesday to Friday 12 - 2pm. Unless by prior arrangement
guests are asked to vacate the restaurant no later than 4.30pm to allow the restaurant staff to prepare for evening service which
commences at 6.00pm. You are welcome to bring your own party crackers.
Christmas Evening Party Bookings. 3 Courses 32. Set menu includes homemade bread. Coffee or tea is NOT included in the price.
Available Tuesday to Friday 6pm until 9.30pm. Not available on Saturday evenings unless exclusive use or prior arrangement of the
management. You are welcome to bring your own party crackers.
Groups of 8+ People (Applicable to Evening booking)
Evening bookings are available in 2 sittings. Early 6pm (to vacate by 8.15pm) or Later 8.30pm (table is yours for the evening)
If you choose the early sitting please ensure all guests in your party are aware of the need to vacate by 8.15pm.
Exclusive Use
Parties of 20+ people (up to 50) will be offered exclusive use owing to the size of the dining room and the impact a large party would
have on other smaller parties. Lunch and evening booking times can be more flexible to your requirements. A minimum spend may
apply subject to final numbers in the party.
Set Menus
Main courses are served complete. Should you require additional side orders these can be purchased at the advertised price in the a la
carte menu. Where applicable a supplement may apply to certain dishes. This is advertised on the menu where applicable.
We can only serve one menu per booking. It is not possible to mix and match dishes from different menus e.g. some dishes from A la
carte, some from party menu.
Provisional Bookings:
Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days. Your booking is classed as provisional until we have received the full
deposit & issued confirmation. If we have not received a deposit within 14 days we will cancel the booking and make the time available
to other enquiries.
Deposits
A deposit of 10 per person is required & is non-refundable. The deposit will be subtracted from the final balance due on the day The
deposit amount redeemed is based on the final number of guests on the day. E.g. If a deposit of 100 paid, and only 9 people attend,
a deposit of90 is redeemable. 10 will be non-redeemable.
Amendments to your Booking
Where reasonable prior notice is given The Boatyard will endeavour to accommodate additions to the clients booking, subject to
availability. Please be aware that Christmas is a peak period & that many popular times are fully booked well in advance. If the size of
your party reduces in any way, we draw your attention to our policy on cancellations. Please inform us as early as possible. Revisions to
the food order can be easily accommodated up to the pre-order deadline. Please communicate these in writing/email. It may not be
possible to make late notice or on the day adjustments.
Cancellation Charges Policy
In order to avoid wastage, no-shows, cancellations & non-arrivals at our busiest time, when we will have turned alternative custom
away, we are obliged to impose the following cancellation charges: More than a fortnight: Deposits will be transferred into restaurant
vouchers. Within 14 days: 10 payable per person from the deposit.
Table Timings
We always try our best to be flexible & accommodating. It is certainly our intention to do everything we can to make your Christmas
enjoyable. Please arrive on time. LATE ARRIVALS: Unfortunately if some members of your party are late, we may not be able to wait for
them, & their food may have to be served awaiting their arrival or for your other guests to share. Management reserve the right to
cancel a booking if guests arrive later than 20 minutes after a confirmed reservation time. Deposits will be non-refunded.
Seating Arrangements
Large groups are advised that whilst we will do our best to seat your members on one table, this may not always be possible due the
layout of our restaurant. Your party will, however, be seated in the same area of the restaurant/function suite wherever possible. You
should speak to us in advance if you have special table requirements.
Children
A child is considered 12 yrs. or younger and will be charged half the adult price. Portion sizes will be half the adult portion. Please note
that The Boatyard has limited high chairs. Please specify if you require a highchair. You may bring your own high chair if required.
Subject to Change
The Management reserves the right to change menus, times, prices, payment or booking conditions.
How to Pre-Order your Meal (Required for Lunch & Evening Party Menus)
Fill in the Pre-order form supplied & either send it to us by e-mail, post or drop it in personally if youd prefer. The pre-order should
include a full guest list by name. We try to compile our pre-orders before the end of November to assist with ordering & planning of
logistics. The final pre-order deadline for any changes is 14 days before the date of your meal.
Special Requirements
Please advise us of any allergies, special dietary requirements or any other special needs in advance ideally when booking or making
written amendments. We will be happy to arrange alternatives wherever possible. We cannot guarantee nuts or nut traces will not be
found in our food.
Service Charge and Payment
Please note a discretionary 10% Service Charge will be added to bills of 8 or more people. All members of staff receive a share of the
tips including kitchen and bar staff. To reduce delay to service we kindly ask that your bill is settled with using 1 or 2 debit/credit cards/or
cash and not multiple types of payments. We can now take payments by Smartphone if you have the Zapper App.
Property & Goods
The Restaurant does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to a clients property & goods.

Booking Information
Christmas Party menus are available from Tuesday 24th November to Thursday 24th December.
Party Menus available Tuesday to Friday Lunch 12 - 2pm / Dinner 6 - 9.30pm
Tables booked at Lunch time must be vacated by 4.30pm to allow staff to set up for evening service.
Groups of 8+ Choice of two sittings either 6pm (to vacate by 8.15pm) or 8.30pm (table is yours for the evening).
Before completing this booking form please contact the restaurant (Tel: 845470) to find out if your preferred
date and time is available. If it is we will provisionally take your booking and give you an opportunity to pay the
deposit. If the deposit is not received within 2 weeks the booking will be cancelled.
Pre-Orders must be received within 14 days prior to your meal.
All deposits are non-refundable but exceptions may be made in the form of restaurant vouchers.
Deposits can be paid by cheque (made payable to TARTAN GROUP LTD), card (including over the phone), or
cash (in person only). Full terms and conditions are provided on the reverse of the booking form.
