I held a supervisory position in a factory that manufactures automobile seats. I was in


charge of supervising 70+ employees. Filled out employee evaluations and assigned
scheduling. I recorded production by completing daily shift production reports. We
maintained the flow of operations by communicating production status, requirements, and
problems to next shift. We maintained a safe, healthy and strong work environment by
following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. We met
production operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and
customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying process improvements . I
acknowledged customer complaints and resolved issues.

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator October 2002 – February 2004

In charge of shipping and receiving, filling orders, final inspections and audits along with
inventory control. I operated overhead cranes and forklifts. Loaded and unloaded trucks,
also was the delivery driver of non-CDL box truck.

Coil Department Supervisor 1989-2002 York International………Elyria, Ohio


In charge of all coil department functions on first shift, in a union shop, which included
scheduling, placement of 40 associates, on each of three shifts, engineering, projects,
ISO procedures, training, and inventory control.
The coil department had the lowest rework of any department. We had implemented new systems of tracking
scrap and rework which show an average of $15,000 a month savings.
Casing Department Supervisor (1988-1989-York International)
In charge of steel fabrication department which supplied parts to assembly lines. Supervised
20 associates and a wide range of machinery including, coil-fed presses, brakes, uni-
punches, CNC punches and upright presses. This position also required me to supervise
the welding department, which had 10 associates
Machine operator (1986-1988-York International)
I was hired into coil department as a machine-operator. Operated a wide range of
equipment, to include fin presses, expanders, hairpin machines, selas braze machine. I was
lead person on the selas braze line and also filled in for foreman in his absences.
Note: York International closed their Elyria plant in 2002, I was offered to relocate, but declined the offer.
