The meeting officially started at 9:00 a.m. of the month of

August 17, 2015 at Abuyog Water District, Abuyog, Leyte.
The enumerated below has transpired during the meeting
I. CALL TO ORDER
The Chairman of the Board called the meeting to order at
exactly 9:00 a.m.
II. ANNOUNCEMENT OF QUORUM
There being a quorum the Board proceeds to transact its
business.
III. READING AND APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
The August 3, 2015 minutes was submitted to the Board for
reading and approval. After some corrections were made, the said
minutes was then approved by the Board.

V. MATTERS FOR BOARD DISPOSITION:

1. Update of the dug well
GM Roy Merro reported that so far the result of the second
constructed dug well is good infact we conducted a testing how
fast is the discharge of the water from the dug well and we were
able to found out that the discharge is about 13.5 lps. Hopefully
we can supply to our consumers at least 1,300. We also conducted
a test when the water is subjected to heat if its turn into
yellowish color especially when we cook rice. Luckily the cook

rice where not turn into yellow. We also get a sample if the
water did not change color after an hour. GM Roy Merro further
added that as we have experience before on the first constructed
dug well the water change. But now on our second dug well so far
the water from the dug well is good. When it comes to the
sustainability they operated the dug well for 24 hours so far the
source waray humubas. GM Roy Merro further added that he is
optimistic that the water from the dug well can sustain for the
present needs/demand of the consumers. Hopefully before fiesta we
can supply water from the dug. GM Roy Merro also suggested to
Engr. Subang that para ma proteksyonan an aton pump dapat duha

first exploratory dug well for back-up kay kaya man san aton 2 nd
dug well to produce water to our consumers kay 13.5 lps man it
iya discharge. GM Roy Merro also said that before fiesta we have
to conduct cleaning the CWR, then clean the elevated tank and
also conduct flashing.
2. Letter of Intent from Mactan Rock Industries Inc.
GM Roy Merro reported that he received a letter of Intent from
Mactan Rock Industries Inc handed by Mr. Neston Osinar Area Sales
Manager.

that

Industries Inc. will conduct feasibility study.

3. Demand letter from COA
GM Roy Merro reported that as we recalled myda surat si Dir.
Aguilar reminding us on our obligation to them at around 215,000

1. Tree Planting Activities
GM Roy Merro reported that since we agreed before that we have to
participate the Fiesta sa Gubat or Tree Planting Activities at
Brgy. Lawaan on August 24, 2015 Monday. An aton nala sini mag

suggestion

of

the

management.
