have done an experimental research to know how the reaction of people towards
something. In this experimental research we want to know the reaction of
students towards a Bean Boozled candy.

1. Objectives of the Experiment

To know the students expression in tasting Bean Boozled

To know how students reaction about tasty or downright crazy of Bean

Boozled
To know how the students purchase intension of Bean Boozled

2. Methodology
2.1.

Participants

Participants in our experimental research are peoples in arround ITB Campus.

Not only students in ITB, but also we met students from UPI Bandung and STIKES
Budi Luhur when we research in arround ITB Library. But, most of participants is
students at ITB.
2.2.

Materials

Materials that we use to experimental research is :

Bean Boozeled candy

Ingredients : Sugar, corn syrup, modified food starch, contains 2% or less

of the following: peach puree concentrate, pear juice concentrate, lime juice
concentrate, coconut, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter, soy lecithin (an
emulsifier), cocoa powder, citric acid, lactic acid, sodium citrate, sodium
lactate, natural and artificial flavor, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), color added,
red 40 lake, blue 2 lake, yellow 5 & 6, red 40, blue 1, blue 1 lake, vegetable
and fruit juice (color), beeswax, carnauba wax, confectioner's glaze, tapioca

In this experimental research, we decided to take an experiment in ITB

campus on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 13.30 PM 16.30 PM.
2.4.

Procedures

To do this experimental research, weve designed some steps to done. These

steps will be conducted each time we took some subject of this experiments. The
subject of this experiment are students around ITB campus which we randomly
chose. The steps are:
a. Introduction
We introduced our-self and our objective to our subjects about the
experiment. We wrote down their names, age, faculty/department. Then
subjects determine the color which will be tasted.
b. The taste
The subjects tasted the Bean Boozled and described the taste. Interact
with others subjects to compare the taste.
c. Revelation and Reaction
We started to reveal the product to the subjects. Explained in more detail
about the product and how its actual taste.
d. Purchase Intention
We asked them about their interest whether to buy or not for a Bean
Boozled with net. 45 grams priced Rp75,000.

3.1.

The students expression in tasting Bean Boozled

The Bean Boozled candy may look alike but they could not taste more
different from each other. However, the flavors associated with each style are either
super tasty or downright crazy. When our participations consume and chew Bean
Boozled candy, if they lucky and get a super tasty like tutt-fruitti, peach, lime,
coconut, etc, the expression is sweet, yummy, its no problems like that. They are
enjoy these candy. But if our participations are unlucky, they get a downright crazy
(weird and wild taste) like stincky socks, rotten egg, lawn clippings, booger, etc and
we look their expression are like emm, its candy? contains weird and wild flavors
like that. Details expression can be seen in our video.
3.2.

The students reaction about tasty or downright crazy of Bean

Boozled
The reaction after our participants chew the Bean Boozled candy, most of
them laugh because the taste feels weird, they cant describe about their taste. If
lucky get super tasty, their reaction are ordinary and enjoy this taste. However, if
unlucky get downright crazy (weird and wild taste), their reaction are laugh because
they cant describe about their taste.
3.3.

We make conclusion from this diagram that participants say no to buy its
product (Bean Boozled candy) is more than participants say yes because the taste

of candy is trapped. If lucky will get super tasty and if unlucky wll get downright
crazy (weird and wild taste. So, we recommended to buy this candy (Bean Boozled)
if you like games that bring so much joy, tears and laughter.
