Wild Stars

In the year 2615 humanity has become part of a larger intergalactic

community. Made possible by their discovery of faster than light travel, nearly 400
years prior, catapulting them into the stars. Without hesitation they began to
colonize the stars, first by the planet and then by the solar system. It came as an
awakening of sorts for mankind when they encountered life outside themselves in
2232, first contact. The humans encounter the Baurdedu, a race of squat, blue, apelike people on one of their would be colonies. The two races took quickly to each
other. The Baurdedu were quick to teach their newly met friends the ways of the
stars.
Over the next 200 years humanity would etch its place into the stars.
Through bloody wars and even bloodier politics. They would make allies and
enemies of the myriad of races within the galaxy. Just when they began to feel as
though they had finally come to belong in galaxy they had discovered, the Assaru
returned. A race long since forgotten by the people of the galaxy the Assaru were
an amalgamation of organic and machine the likes of which had never been seen.
Long ago they had departed for the galaxy in search of some secret they claimed
was hidden beyond the stars never to returnuntil now. Their massive warships
appeared out of slipspace simultaneously across the galaxy. Opening fire upon
whomever they could. The casualties where incalculable. Entire species where made
extinct in a matter of hours. It was only through the combined might of every able
species that the Assaru where driven back through slipspace, back to wherever they
had returned from.
The galaxy would never be the same after the Assaru attack. What
governments the different species had had were now all but gone; or confined solely
to the planet of its inception. Entire planets where cut off from any form of
leadership for the first time since their colonization. For all intents and purposes, it
was the end of the galaxy; but from the ashes of the old a new galaxy was born. In
the intervening two-hundred years societies on these lost planets began to rebuild.
The different species, free from their old hatreds of each other banded together
across the galaxy to survive together. Come the dawn of the 25 th century, and a new
form of leadership had formed: The Unified Confederation of Systems. Though their
arrival was not met with the cheers and acceptance they had anticipated and
instead with jeers and refusal by the vast majority of the galaxy. They had seen the
dangers of a galactic government, the war and hatred they bred, and wanted none
of it.
The 26th century would mark the beginning of a new era in the galaxy. One
not dissimilar to the Wild West from the days on Earth. An era of staunch defiance in
the face of government, an era of freedom, and an era of lawless-ness. An era of
Wild Stars.

Races
Species: Human
Home Planet: Earth
Height: Average height ranges anywhere from 5 foot to 6 foot for a male while
females are slightly smaller, ranging from 4 foot to nearly 6 feet.
Weight: Males average around 175-210 lbs while females average around 95-150
lbs.
Skin Color: Ranges from peach to brown.
Hair Color: Ranges from black to blonde.
Eye Color: Blue, Brown, and Green with many small variations.
Psychological Profile: An adventurous and expansive race by design, Humans are
not one to wallow in defeat. Instead turning bad situations into preferable ones.
While not the strongest, or fastest, or even smartest of the races, Humans have an
inbred drive that keeps them going and makes the easy choices for leadership in
the stars.

Species: Baurdedu (Bar-day-do)

Home Planet: Vox-12
Height: The Baurdedu are a squat people with both males and females rarely
reaching above 3-4 feet.
Weight: The average Baurdedu is stickily built with muscle making up the majority
of their weight. Males range from 200 to 300 lbs while females range from 175-200.
Skin Color: The skin of a Baurdedu takes on different shades depending on their
age. Light blue at birth that slowly darkens as they age until near their death it is an
extremely dark, almost black, shade of blue.
Hair Color: White
Eye Color: Yellow, Blue, or Green.
Psychological Profile: The Baurdedu are a brave and friendly people. It is rare to see
them hold any form of contempt toward anyone. Even their enemies are often
regarded as worthy opponents the Baurdedu enjoy battling. They are well known for
their outrageous taste pallet often preparing food that is too spicy for other species.
Notable Physical Characteristics: The Baurdedu are a squat, almost ape-like species.
While their resemblance to humans cannot be ignored they look more like early
stages of evolution between man and ape than any modern human.

Species: Meatu (Me-ah-two)

Home Planet: Vreel
Height: A notoriously small race, the Meatu share an average height of 2 to 3 feet
between both genders.
Weight: Average male weight is 30 to 50 lbs while the average female is 15-20 lbs.
Skin Color: Varying from desert tan to that of cured leather.
Hair Color: N/A
Eye Color: Black
Psychological Profile: Intuitive and endlessly curious the Meatu love to invent. Often
creating doodads with no practical purpose for the sole reason of fun or for splarkn,
closest earthling translation: Awesomeness. The Meatu possess and almost childlike
approach to the galaxy. This has led to them to make many friends, as well as being
taken advantage of more than a few times.
Notable Physical Characteristics: Incredibly small with large beady black eyes, elfin
ears protruding from either side of their head and a lipless mouth permanently
affixed in an almost smile.. The Meatu possess a vaguely human body shape albeit
with a neck attaching to their head at their almost non-existent chin.

Species: Shiana
Home Planet: Unknown
Height: Males average at 5 to 6 feet while females range from 4 to 5 feet.
Weight: Both genders are lithe, with males weighing around 125 to 160 lbs while
females range from 75 to 100 lbs.
Skin Color: White
Hair Color: Red, pale blonde or black
Eye Color: Ethereal blue.
Psychological Profile: The Shiana are a elegant and mysterious people. Wanders
they know not from where they came, nor do they know where they are going.
Chance brought them into the Milky Way hundreds of years ago and genuine bonds
with the races therein kept them. They avoid conflict whenever possible but when
forced they battle fiercely using mighty powers for whichever side they feel most
just.
Notable Physical Characteristics: Often described as looking human but somehow
of. The Shiana bear more than just passing resemblance to Humanity.

Species: Vrex
Home Planet: Sclothal
Height: Standing slightly taller than humans male Vrex average at 6 to 7 feet and
the females about 5 to 6 feet.
Weight: Roughly 180-215 lbs for males while females weigh in at a little bit under.
The Vrex have a very muscular build, giving them a heavier weight than the
average human.
Skin Color: The skin coloration of the Vrex is a corpse-like grey tone. With slight
variation toward more or less lively.
Hair Color: N/A
Eye Color: Yellow or Red Psychological Profile: The Vrex are a battle-hardened race
from the borders of civilized space. Often acting as bounty hunters or mercenaries
for the other races they are never happier than when they are in the midst of battle.
Notable Physical Characteristics: The Vrex have a very human build in height and
weight, just slightly more athletic and muscular. The most striking thing about them
is their clawed hands and their strange face; Four eyes adorned their head atop
each other and no discernable mouth.

Species: IzKilal
Home Planet: Oboros
Height: Roughly 4 to 5 feet for males and only a fraction smaller for the females.
Weight: The IzKilal are avian in nature with hollow bones to allow for flight, this
gives them an average weight of 100 lbs for males and 80-95 for females.
Skin Color: The skin color of the IzKilal is a pale white color, rarely seen under their
feathers.
Feather Color: The feathers of the IzKilal often have bright and vibrant colorations
with the males having the brighter of the colors while females still have bright
colors but to a lesser degree.
Eye Color: Black
Psychological Profile: The IzKilal are a very cultured people. Priding themselves on
their beliefs and culture, they are well known for their shaman and religious beliefs.
They attempt to spread their beliefs wherever possible, leading to their ways being
a major force in the galaxy, especially with the lesser races.

Notable Physical Characteristics: The IzKilal are an avian race with large black
beaks and fanciful plumage. They possess digitigrade legs, with taloned feet at their
base. Standing a foot or so shorter than humans they are an agile race and are even
capable of self-propelled flight.

Species: Al'Hara
Home Planet: Huul, The desert Planet
Height: Average height ranges from 6 foot to 7-1/2 foot while females are slightly
smaller, ranging from 5-1/2 foot to almost 7.
Weight: Males average around 850-1000lbs while females average out at around
720-800lbs
Skin Color: From Light olive to Deep Caramel
Hair Color: any shade of Brown or Black
Eye color: Black, The eyes of the Al'Hara are human in shape, but lack any color,
being completely black.
Chitin Color: From Desert Tan to Midnight Black
Psychological Profile: A desire to wander and fight flows through the blood of these
people. Tough and hardy, they can be found in all sorts of climates. Using their
agility and dextarity to get themselves into and out of all sorts of trouble. Their
speed, nimble dextarity and cunning sense of direction makes them apt choices for
Scouts, wether that be for soldiers, or coorperationial use
