CARE OF CHILDREN IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

3 units
It focuses on the care of children, their growth and development, diseases
and conditions affecting them.
3 hours/week

At the end of the course and after participating actively in all learning
activities designed for the course, the student will be able to:
1. Discuss the normal growth and development of children.
2. Identify the nutritional requirements of the growing child
3. Assess conditions children with specific disorders
4. Identify disease conditions affecting children
5. Render care to ill children.
