2008 to Jan 2010 Apex Commercial Printing, Atlanta, GA


Hired to manage multiple aspects of this business – customer service,
production, scheduling, outside services and quality control. The
position required detailed and effective coordination, communication,
organization, timing, planning as well as a high degree of
interaction between clients and internal departments thru all the
stages of project development to production. Facilitating this process
involved quick response, creative resolutions, skilled resourcefulness
and efficient execution.

2000-2008 Print Direction Inc., Norcross, GA


June 2005 – July 2008 Sales Assistant. Transitioned to the position
of sales assistant. Managed all facets of every job for sales person.
Securing estimates, sourcing, production, bindery, any outside services,
mailings and fulfillment. Dealt with all departments involved. Prepress,
litho, screen print, digital and warehouse. Internal contact for clients
and preparation of jobs for billing to insure maximum profit.

Nov 2000– June 2005 Litho Division Assistant. Atlanta City Press
(A division of Print Direction Inc.), Norcross, GA. Responsible
for helping to manage the off-site press facility. Responsible for entering
orders, ordering stock and supplies, reconciling estimate with print
production specs, coordinated outside services, managed delivery schedule,
prepared material for shipping, authorized invoices and prepared costing of
completed jobs. Handled all house accounts. In 2003, facility was moved
into the Print Direction building. Continued to handle all print orders sub-
mitted by the sales force, write up through billing.
1990.2000 ShipXact.com (formerly known as Distributors International), Norcross, GA
Jan 2000-May 2000 Senior Account Manager. Responsible for five
accounts. Directed the day-to-day activities of account personnel.
Planned and executed cost effective strategies such as online ordering,
elimination of obsolete inventory, and timely replenishment aimed at
reducing backorder positions.

1998-1999 Vice-President, Client Relations. Assumed managerial


control of all fulfillment, production and special projects accounts and
personnel. Expanded external contact with client base. Administered
numerous accounts from initial client contact, preparation of due
diligence, needs assessment, Scope of Work, pricing, set-up and
start-up.

1997-1998 Fulfillment Manager/Operations Manager. All duties


described below and full responsibility of warehouse activities to include
shipping, receiving, personnel, scheduling and equipment. Directed all
modes of transportation and plant maintenance. Managed one third of
all employees.

1994-1997 Fulfillment Manager. Internal contact for all fulfillment


accounts. Controlled daily operations including domestic and international
transportation logistics and inventory concerns. Negotiated freight
contracts and problem resolution. Supervised all account administrators
and support personnel.

1992-1994 Client liaison/Print and Graphics Department. Supervised


print production jobs from inception through completion including
pre-press, print, finishing, bindery and shipping. Responsibilities included
client contact, outside services contact, accurate billing, maintenance of all
print records, and compilation of reference system.

1990-1992 Account Administrator. Coordinated and implemented day to


day activities for company’s two largest accounts. Edited all daily orders
to include means of transportation (domestic and international), supervision
of order entry, inventory control, cycle counts, inbound/outbound freight,
preparation of customs documents, project management and constant
interaction with client contact.
