HOLY THURSDAY
WHY WE HAVE TO WATCH AND PRAY, AND
CELEBRATE THE PASSOVER EVERY WEDNESDAY
NIGHT.
Most of you do not care to take part in watch-andpray. This is not a good life of a true Christian. We
are doing these things to uplift the glory of God.
Mar 14:37 And he cometh, and findeth them
sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest
thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
Mar 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into
temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh
is weak.
THE THURSDAY FASTING AND PRAYER:
The Thursday Fasting is to remember the day Our
Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. The
Wednesday Watch-and-Pray signifies His arrest,

death and burial. WE HAVE GOT TO DO THIS FOR

ETERNITY. The worldly people say that Brotherhood
of the Cross and Star does not worship Jehovah God
and His Christ. I am asking them, between
Brotherhood and the world, who worships Christ,
glorifies Christ, and honors Christ? A great many of
you do not take part in our fasting here. You do not
know what we are doing.
Matthew 12:40
For as Jonah was three days and three nights

in the whale's belly; so shall the son of man be

three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth.
NOT ON THE FEAST DAY, LEST THERE BE AN
UPROAR OF THE PEOPLE.
After two days was the feast of the passover, and of
unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the
scribes sought how they might take him by craft,
and put him to death.
But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an
uproar of the people. (MARK14:1-2)

THE THIRD DAY HE SHALL RISE AGAIN.

Mar 14:57 And there arose certain, and bare false

temple that is made with hands, and within three
days I will build another made without hands.

APPRECIATION
WE ARE HERE TO SHOW APPRECIATION FOR THE
LOVE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HAD FOR
HUMANITY. IT SHOULD BE INFINITE CELEBRATION
BY HUMANITY TO SHOW APPRECIATION TO GOD
FOR THE LOVE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HAD FOR
THE SONS OF MEN.

offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will
smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
Mar 14:28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into
Galilee.

WATCH AND PRAY AND THE FEAST(LAST SUPPER)

It is sorrowful that many members of the
Brotherhood do not partake of the watch and pray
and the feast we conduct daily but they rather say
that God dwells in their hearts. Have you not heard
what he has said? He said whoever does drink of my
blood and does eat of my flesh will have eternal life.
Again Jesus said to His disciples: If you watch with
me for an hour and if you watch and pray you will not
enter into temptation. Watch out and pray so that
you will not enter into temptation. (Matthew 26:4041). Did the disciples not enter into temptation? Yes,
they did because they did not watch and pray.

from the Cross and taken to the grave. We conduct
the Bible Class every Wednesday under sun or rain; it
was conducted throughout the period of the last civil
war. At 3 a.m. the following Thursday that we end
the watch-and-pray was the time our Lord Jesus
Christ was arrested. Most of you do not care to take
part in watch-and-pray. This is not a good life of a
true Christian. We are doing these things to uplift the
glory of God.

GRATITUDE:
INFINITE CELEBRATION BY HUMANITY TO SHOW
APPRECIATION TO GOD FOR THE LOVE OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST HAD FOR THE SONS OF MEN.
We are not here to serve the government, man or
angel, but we are here to show appreciation for the
love our Lord Jesus Christ had for humanity. This is
an event which should not have a beginning nor an
end. It should be an infinite celebration by humanity
to show appreciation to God for the love Our Lord
Jesus Christ had for the sons of men. The lesson
says that it was two day to the feast of Passover and
I ask, count from this day and see whether it is not
really two days that is remaining in compliance with
what is read out.
The real day of the feast of Passover according
to the Jewish tradition is Friday and it was this day
that Our Lord Jesus Christ referred to when He said
two days to the day of Passover. Now if Our Lord
Jesus Christ celebrated the Passover on Wednesday
night, and thereafter he was arrested, judged, and
condemned to death on Thursday, do you not see

that the worlds claim that Our Lord Jesus Christ

died on Friday is wrong? As you have been told in the
scriptures, Saturday is the Sabbath, it means that
Friday is the day of Passover. The Jews never
wanted to crucify Our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday
which is the day of the Passover, nor on the Sabbath
day which is Saturday because there would be a
tumult and because of this anticipated tumult, they
hastened the crucifixion for Thursday.

Second Bible Lesson: John 2:19

"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy
this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
THE TRUTH HAS COME:
Brethren, have you heard that text? The Bible says
In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every
word of truth be established." (2 Corinthians 13:1).
The second lesson confirms the three days and three
nights death bid and its unique essence. He said,
Destroy this temple, and I will build it after three
days. It also serves as a releasing factor, setting
free those who were in spiritual as well as mental
bondage. Those who were condemned have been
freed, and those who were sick in the hospitals are
now permanently healed.
It is said, He that speaketh of himself seeketh his
own glory, but he that seeketh his glory that sent
him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in
him. (John 7:18). Those servants who speak and
seek for their glory, there is not even an iota of truth
in them. They are fraught with falsehood.

I want the conventional churches to prove their case

with regards to the timing and calculation of the
number of days Our Lord Jesus the Christ was in the
heart of the earth. WE IN BROTHERHOOD HAVE
PROVED OUR CASE MATHEMATICALLY, WITH
BIBLICAL SUPPORT. The orthodox churches claim
that theirs was on Friday. God had allowed them to
falsify the event for so long until they prove
themselves wrong. The Spirit of Truth has come to
unfold all things for the salvation of mankind.
SOME PEOPLE ARE SAYING THAT IT DOES NOT
MATTER. TO ASSUME SUCH A POSITION IS WRONG.
THIS IS A UNIQUE AND IMPORTANT MATTER WHICH
BOARDERS ON THE FOUNDATION OF HUMANITY, SO
IT IS WRONG TO TREAT THE MATTER SO LIGHTLY.
Their calculation from Friday will land them on two
days and two nights during which time Our Lord
Jesus Christ would still have been in the heart of the
earth. This is wrong and we cannot compromise or
condone this satanic and misleading assumption.
THAT IS WHY THIS GOSPEL MUST BE DOCUMENTED
FOR THE ENLIGHTENMENT AND THE SALVATION OF
MANKIND. THEIR DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO FALSIFY
A GENUINE TRUTH AND TO THROW DUST INTO THE

EYES OF THE ENTIRE WORLD MUST BE EXPOSED.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO EXPOSE THE TRUTH UNTIL
SATAN AND HIS AGENTS VACATE THEIR THRONE.
A member, through false vision, told a brother to
reject his real wife (sister) with children and to take
a new wife, claiming that the Father ordered him to
give such a vision. But the poser is: why should the
Father do a thing like that? WHICH FATHER IN THE
FIRST PLACE? SUCH A THING IS OUTRAGEOUS AND
QUESTIONABLE. It is equally blackmail and
blasphemy. I AM OPPOSED TO ANY FALSEHOOD IN
THE WORLD, INCLUDING THE JESUS CHRIST'S
DEATH SAGA. The calculation is misleading. The
case of His birth, which has been fixed for
convenience, could be tolerable, but for His death,
upon which the salvation of the generality of
mankind depends, nobody should toy or falsify it on
any account.
I WILL NOT ALLOW ANY FALSE DOCTRINE TO BE
SPREAD AGAIN IN THE WORLD, AND IT IS AGAINST

his actions are true and just. This should help us to
realize that sooner or later His words must be
fulfilled.
DID OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST NOT SAY, EVERY

HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION FORM THE
FOUNDATION WHICH MUST BE CELEBRATED WITH
POMP AND JOY. His death has been the last
covenanted arrangement, and that was why He said,
It is finished, (John 19:30) as He allowed His
precious blood to be spilled for atonement of the
sins of men. This supreme sacrifice has superseded
other sacrifices of goats, sheep or rams, and has
wiped away all sinfulness. To this end, nobody has
the right to impute sin on other people. The sins of
Adam had condemned the entire human race to

death, but his unique and supreme sacrifice has

come to redeem humanity from the bondage and the
clutches of Satan. THEREFORE IF ANY PASTOR SAYS
HE SUFFERS FOR ANYONE'S SAKE, HE IS A
BLATANT LIAR. IT IS OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO
HAD REALLY SUFFERED FOR ALL MANKIND. IT IS
SAID THAT THE TESTIMONIES FROM TWO OR THREE
PEOPLE CONFIRM THE TRUTH. Brethren let our

with you before I suffer: 16: For I say unto you, I will
not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the

the last supper that we observe represent exactly
what He did to manifest the glory of God, is the
fulfillment of the scriptures which said that when the
Comforter shall come He will teach you all things
and will show you the glory which belongs to me.
Brethren our Lord Jesus Christ has been revealed. A
great many of you do not take part in the watch-andpray and the last supper, that is the feast which is
conducted on Wednesday. All of you come in here
complaining that you have no wife, you have no
husband, you are sick, you are poor etc. But you
have not observed the watch-and-pray and the
fasting on Thursdays.
From now henceforth, when you go back, observe
the watch-and-pray, stay till three oclock and take

the last supper, then on Thursdays, you observe the

fasting from six am to six pm; try that for some
weeks and see what will happen to you, see whether
all your problems will not vanish.
What are you? What is your occupation, what is the
kind of height that you have you attained that you
cannot participate in the Watch-and-Pray?
If our Lord Jesus Christ were to die today, would you
not suffer with Him? We have got to give Him the
glory. His glory is greater than everything. This is the
glory that we will have, the glory that belongs to our
Lord Jesus Christ, and you should not add or
subtract anything. If you add anything to it
punishment will be added unto you, and if you
subtract anything, your name will be removed from
the book of life. The angels hail Him and say that He
is worthy of this honor because He died for the
salvation of mankind. We, therefore, have to give Him
the glory.
On the Sunday morning when He rose from the dead
we proclaimed to the whole world, and on the birth
of our Lord Jesus Christ we went out to proclaim to
the entire world. It is not only here but in the entire

world that the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ must

manifest. It is only His glory that must be revealed
now.
It was on a Sunday that God created heaven and
earth, therefore, creation started on Sunday which is
the first day of the week. You have heard that God
used six days to finish all works of creation and
rested on the seventh day. Sabbath is not the first
day of the week but Sunday is. The whole world is
blind, deaf and I have to reveal the glory of God to
the whole world.
BROTHERHOOD DOES NOT WORSHIP DAYS AND
MONTHS.
In the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star we do not
worship anything but God. We do not worship days,
months, hours, time but we practice the word of
God.
Many of you do not understand yourselves, you do
not know who and what you are; you do not even
know what to do. We are saved by grace. Being
saved by grace means that we are living by the word
of God. Your problem is that you observe the
instructions of man. The instructions of man is the

law, though you keep the law you cannot keep it to

the letter and that is why it is said woe unto him who
does not observe the law to its entirety. I want to
show you what Brotherhood stands for, what
Brotherhood is, what Brotherhood honors and
worships, and also what is our salvation.

THE FATHER HAS CALLED YOU TO

REMOLD YOU WITH HIS WORD.
*IN ALL YOUR UNDERTAKINGS LET THE WORD OF GOD BE
YOUR GUIDE AND LIGHT. YOU DO NOT NEED THE SUN AND
MOON AND STARS, WE ARE LIVING BY THE WORD OF GOD,
GOD ALONE CAN OVERCOME ALL PROBLEMS.

You were invited to the Pentecostal Assembly to be

transformed through the word of God. Brotherhood
of the Cross and Star as you were earlier told is love.
Strive hard to love one another and forget about the
pattern of our nomenclature, it is as reflected below:
Ordained, Students, Christ's Servants, Choristers
and the Congregation, you are all one flock under
one shepherd. Do not allow the system of
nomenclature start to confuse you.
Many of you failed to participate in the Pentecostal
from the first day but you come for the last blessing.
DO YOU THINK THAT YOU WILL BE BLESSED WITH
WATER? IT IS WITH THE VERY WORDS WHICH YOU
HAVE REFUSED TO RECEIVE. I HAVE SAID SO MUCH
ABOUT THE HOLY OIL BUT YOU INSIST ON HAVING
IT, INSTEAD OF RECEIVING THE WORD OF GOD. DO
NOT FORGET THAT IT IS WITH THE WORD THAT I
MAKE THE HOLY OIL. You are also very much after
the Biakpan water, no matter how slippery the road
is, you like to rush to Biakpan to have the water,
forgetting that it is with THE WORD that I made the
water. You will even refuse to give the water to your
intimate friends. Christ made it clear to us that the
flesh does not give us anything. THE WORD OF GOD

WHICH IS GIVEN TO YOU IS LIFE, POWER, WEALTH,

FOOD AND EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED.

THE WORD OF GOD WILL BE THE JUDGE

Joh 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on
me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
Joh 12:45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent

As you are being sent home now, go and invite the
whole world, go into the villages, and into the
churches, and get them united, tell the government
to be united and remain in love. THIS IS THE REIGN
OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. Do not be annoyed,
and do not quarrel with any person. Do not bear
malice against any person. Whoever bears grudges
against any person should reconcile and make peace
with such a person. IN ALL YOUR UNDERTAKINGS
LET THE WORD OF GOD BE YOUR GUIDE AND LIGHT.
YOU DO NOT NEED THE SUN AND MOON AND
STARS, WE ARE LIVING BY THE WORD OF GOD, GOD
ALONE CAN OVERCOME ALL PROBLEMS.

Do not be deceived by any person that this and that

type of illness cannot be healed by God, or that this
and that problem cannot be overcome by God
because what God does not do, no person can do it,
what God does not take away, no person can take it

away. Whatever ailment, whatever sickness,

whatever trouble that you have, do not take herbs,
roots, leaves, or medicine, even when it is directed
by an angel. God is the only healer, bow down and
worship Him. If you have any illness and someone
comes and tell you that, that sickness is from man
rejoice because it will soon be over, but if someone
tells you that the cause is from God, prostrate before
God and ask Him to forgive you. Any person who tells
you that your ailment or tribulation is from man, juju,
and witchcraft or from the world, is the messenger
of Satan and a deceiver. All the problems that you
have, all the sicknesses and all the afflictions that
beset you is because you do not submit yourself to
God and you do not listen to the word of God and
practice same.
If someone offends his brother, and afterwards he
goes to his brother and asks for, forgiveness, what is
your problem? Every wrongdoing we commit, we
commit against God, and if we go to God for
forgiveness and He accepts us back, why should
other people bother themselves. If God wants you to
suffer and perish, He will harden your heart, deafen
your ears, and close your eyes to reasoning, and you

would not run to God for forgiveness. In that case He

wants you to suffer. Before you find yourself in such
a position it means you have deliberately committed
atrocities without a conscience. Brethren, this era is
not the era of human beings, it is the era of Jehovah
God and His Christ, therefore, you cannot say that
your brother is a Pastor, Bishop, an Evangelist, a
Leader and therefore he will help you. This is the era
of the Holy Spirit. Go into the world and impart this
message unto them, if you or anybody wants to
adhere to the instructions and advice given you, he
can do so in order to be saved. Many of you are
afraid to preach this truth. Your friends who are
lawyers, permanent secretaries, heads of
institutions, are starved of the gospel, and
consequently they incur punishment for their
wrongdoings. Since they are made to suffer because
you refuse to teach them, you are not free either.
The kingdom of God is not for you and me alone, it is
not only for Nigerians, it is for the whole world. Go ye
therefore, and inform the adulterers, fornicators,
idolaters, thieves, murderers, and all sinners to
refrain from sin in order that they may be saved. If
you watch closely, you would realize that things have

changed in the Government. In the past if you

commit any crime in the government you will be
mildly reprimanded, but now any crime you commit
in the government you are greatly punished because
this is the reign of Jehovah God and His Christ.

THE DAY OF PASSOVER:

LUKE 22:7-13

make ready?
10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are

whereinto he goeth.

11 And ye shall say unto the master of the house,

The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the
guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with
my disciples?
12 And he will show you a large upper room
furnished: there make ready.
13 And they went, and found as he had said unto
them: and they made ready the passover.
Today is that day our Lord Jesus Christ offered that
statement this same day. This was to make you
know that this Passover was not prepared in church
or prayer houses nor in the bush, but He simply told
the disciples to go to the city and to a certain mans
house. Bread was not taken with them. Where do you
think the bread for the feast of Passover will come
from? Again He said he who eats with me in the
same dish, and I ask, do you eat bread in the dish
with
people? While we are here the Passover is being
prepared and you have partaken of the Passover with
Him. He said, whosoever therefore shall break one
of these least commandments, and shall teach men
so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of

heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the

same shall be called great in the kingdom of
heaven, ( Matt. 5:19).
This feast is not celebrated because we have money,
or because we are worthy, it is not performed for our
well being, but it is done for a remembrance and also
for people who were not there that day to know what
happened. It is said that when one sees the corpse,
definitely tears must come out of the eyes. You can
now see that He was not crucified on Friday but
THURSDAY to avoid tumult.(Mark 14:1-2). You will
also note that this Passover was not prepared on
that Wednesday but in advance, and this further
confirms His words to be the veritable truth. This
afternoon of the Passover started and according to
the Jewish way of counting time, Thursday started a
minute after 6 p.m. of Wednesday evening and that
was the start of His trial. If you partake of this feast
at 5 p.m. or 6 p.m., it is not the Passover. If a man
dies on Monday and when you want to remember
him, you do it on Tuesday, you are wrong. That is
why we do exactly what happened on that day at the
appropriate time whether humanity believes or not.

This shows you that Christ is the same today,

tomorrow and forever.
The disciples asked our Lord Jesus Christ where the
Passover would be prepared and the same question
has come up today. Do not term this question as
asked by the Jews and Greeks but regard it as asked
by you now. This question also goes to all
Christendom: where are you going to prepare the
Passover? The son of man is going into His glory and
are we not to prepare the Passover? It is not calling
Jesus, Jesus, Lord of Lords and King of Kings, but go
into the world and ask of where the Passover will be
prepared? The direct answer is that you should go
into the city and enter into a certain man's house
and make him know that the teacher wants a place
prepared for the Passover.
THE TRUTH HAS COME TO STAY
That is why Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is
called Christ Universal Spiritual School of Practical
Christianity. Nothing is added or subtracted and
there is no studying but a practical demonstration of
the truth of things. As God has rightly said, any
person who adds any word to His word of prophesy

will have all the afflictions in the Bible and will have
his name removed from the book of life. Here in
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star nobody adds and
subtracts and this is why our Lord Jesus Christ said
that the Comforter will reveal to you all the truth. It
is wrong to say that Leader O.O. Obu said this or
that, but say that our Lord Jesus Christ said it. That
is why when people read through our publications,
they would tell you that the Leader has confirmed
that He is not Christ and now what are you talking
about? It is Christ that had said, continues to say
and will say everything forever.
The Passover will be prepared and eaten tonight and
as soon as you eat it, you have taken on yourself the
sins of the world, and you will surrender your lives as
ransom for the salvation of the world as our Lord
Jesus did. That is why on Wednesday we have the
Bible Class, Watch And Pray till 3 a.m. At 6 a.m. on
Thursday starts the fasting depicting the time He
was sentenced to death and later nailed to the
Cross at 9 am. We have no other work to do but to
unveil the events of that day to those who were not
there. You may have been there when this event
happened and that is why it is always said that we of

the olden times have come back again. (John 15:2627)

If you were not there then, how do you come by
these names, pastor, prophet, apostle and
evangelist. Many of you do not know why you are
placed in these positions. It is exactly what
happened in the past that is re-established and a
fulfillment of the proclamation of our Lord Jesus
Christ when He said that the Comforter shall teach
you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. And
God had set some in the Church, first Apostles,
second Prophets, thirdly Teachers, after these
miracles, then gifts of healing, helpers of
governments, diversities of tongues (1st Corinthians
12:28) and this is what you are seeing today done in
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, falling in line with
what our Lord Jesus Christ had said when He said
that the:Comforter will open to you all the truth. All that you
have seen is the revelation of the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ, not the glory of anybody else. You
should not look for your personal glories but that of
Christ. What is done here in Brotherhood of the

Cross and Star is what had been done, it is what we

have to do and will be done forever
It is sorrowful that many members of the
Brotherhood do not partake of the watch and pray
and the feast we conduct daily but they rather say
that God dwells in their hearts.
Have you not heard what he has said? He said
whoever does drink of my blood and does eat of my
flesh will have eternal life. Again Jesus said to His
disciples: If you watch with me for an hour and if you
watch and pray you will not enter into temptation.
Watch out and pray so that you will not enter into
temptation. (Matthew 26:40-41). Did the disciples not
enter into temptation? Yes, they did because they
did not watch and pray.
Our Lord Jesus Christ was arrested at 3 a.m. on
Thursday, this is the reason we observe a vigil night
every Wednesday to watch and pray, at 3 a.m. on the
following day. From
3 a.m. until 6 a.m. Our Lord Jesus Christ was
tortured. This is exactly how we conduct our system
so that nothing is added nor subtracted. At 9 a.m. He
was nailed on the Cross and at 3 p.m., He shouted

and gave up His Ghost and finally at 6 p.m. His body

was removed by Joseph of Arimathaea.
If you take stock of what happened to Him on the
cross you will realize that our Lord Jesus Christ
deserves to be worshiped, honored and respected
and we should worship Him with reverence by
refraining from sin. Here in the Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star people say that we are worshiping
man. WE WORSHIP GOD, WE HONOR GOD.
If you say you are a Brotherhood and this night you
are not here, what Brotherhood are you? If you say
that you were here for the Pentecostal Assembly and
today you are partaking in the great feast which type
of Pentecostal were you coming to attend? Can you
now see people claiming to be in Brotherhood for
twenty years without deriving any benefit? If you
preach and teach others to practice same you are
the highest. Some Bethels do not keep Watch and
Pray at all, while in others they do it and stop at 1
a.m. Is that Watch and Pray? Some Bethels do it
without feast. Is that what I teach you? Is that Watch
and Pray? Even here before me some Pastors,
Apostles etc., do not come to Watch and Pray. Is that
the way you can reward Christ?

This manner of keeping Watch and Pray and

observing HOLY THURSDAY will continue forever.
Dear brethren, I do not want to be tedious unto you,
those who have ears let them heat. May God add

HOLY THURSDAY
WHY WE HAVE TO WATCH AND PRAY, AND
CELEBRATE THE PASSOVER EVERY WEDNESDAY
NIGHT.
THE STAND OF BROTHERHOOD:
It was on a Wednesday night that Our Lord Jesus
Christ drank of the cup of mans iniquities. This
explains why we in Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star observe WATCH and PRAY every Wednesday
night to commemorate that awful night. He was
delivered to the hands of His adversaries after
drinking of that cup. That was the night of torture
and torment and finally He was crucified at dawn on

Thursday. He asked His disciples to keep watch and

pray. We say this authoritatively because WE were
there. We witnessed and felt the pain and agony that
Wednesday night. That explains why we have
continued to Watch and Pray, every Wednesday
night.
The world now erroneously believes that, the Lord
was crucified on Friday. This is unfortunate.
SUNDAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK:
There is also a great confusion in the world about
the counting of the days in the week. The people of
the world believe that the week begins with Monday.
This is erroneous and mundane teaching. That does
not represent God's arrangement which the Jews
themselves adopted. SUNDAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF
THE WEEK, THE DAY NATURE BEGAN THE WORK OF
CREATION.

THE HOURS OF THE DAY: JOHN 11: 9-10 (are there

not TWELVE HOURS IN THE DAY?)
BIBLE WITNESS:
JOHN 11:9-10

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in

the day? If a man walk in the day, he stumbleth not,

because he seeth the light of this world.
10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth,
because the light is not in him.

HOLY THURSDAY
THE GREAT EXPOSITION:
IT THEREFORE BECOMES ABSOLUTELY
REASONABLE THAT WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
SHOULD BE REGARDED AS HOLY DAYS and they
must be set aside for observance of these historic
events. Those in secret cults and fraternities do
know the efficacy of the esoteric events but they
have for years hidden them from other inhabitants of
the world. They personally observe these holy days
but they would not expose the essence to other
people outside their secret groups.
THE TIMING OF CHRISTS DEATH:
Golden Text: Matthew 12:40
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the
whale's belly; so shall the son of man be three days
and three nights in the heart of the earth.

THE TIMING OF CHRIST'S DEATH:

You have already been told that the Jews counted 6
a.m. to 6 p.m. as one day and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. as
one night. It then proves that 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on
Thursday was one day, 6 p.m. on Thursday to 6 a.m.
on Friday was one night. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on
Friday made the second day, and from 6 p.m. on
Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday made the second night.
The third night was 6 p.m. on Saturday to 6 a.m. on
Sunday. By that calculation, our submission has been
proved. We are waiting for the Popes, Archbishops,
Bishops, and Pastors of the orthodox churches to
come and prove us wrong. We do firmly believe that
no sane person could come to contest this divine
truth except Satan and his agents. Brethren, that is
why we have to thank and glorify Him for this
wonderful and recondite wisdom exposed to us. On
our part, as we believe and practicalize this
wonderful revelation, all our problems, difficulties,
sickness and deaths are taken away. Our Lord Jesus
Christ is the mediator of the new covenant, the only
true and sincere friend. If therefore we suffer with
Him, we shall also be glorified with Him.
THE FEAST OF PASSOVER:

What I want all of you to take cognizance of is

the day He was hanged on the cross for the sake of
our sins. This is why we have to WATCH AND PRAY,
and celebrate the Passover EVERY WEDNESDAY
NIGHT. Many people think that it is out of hunger
that we eat bread, banana and groundnut on that
night. They are completely unaware that it is in
commemoration of that great day of the last supper.
An Efik adage has it that when the cause loses its
reason, it quarrels. If you forget where you had
salvation, you are bound to stumble and fall. The
Passover celebrated by the Jews had a beginning
and a reason. During the time of Abraham, there was
no celebration of the Passover. In the time of Isaac,
there was no Passover celebration. In the time of
Jacob, there was no Passover celebration. Even
when the Israelites were in Egypt, there was no
Passover.
When did the Passover celebration begin? It
started after four hundred years when the Israelites
had been under slavery in Egypt. This Passover
started after Moses had displayed all his miracles
before Pharaoh, but Pharaoh refused to let the
Israelites go out of Egypt. When all avenues to get

Pharaoh to release the children of Israel from Egypt

had failed, God instructed Moses to direct all
Israelites in Egypt to slaughter a ram each and
smear the rams blood on their door posts.
This Passover was celebrated to make the death
that was to plague the people of Egypt to be of no
effect on the Israelites. The following morning
corpses were found everywhere in Egypt. All the
first-borns in Egyptian homes died, including the
Pharaohs son. Directly after this incident, Pharaoh
allowed all the children of Israel to leave Egypt
under the leadership of Moses. From that day,
anniversaries of this Passover became a yearly
event.
Brethren, note that what is worth honoring and
worshiping must strictly be observed. If the children
of Israel who never believed in God strictly observed
the anniversary of the Passover in remembrance of
the day they were released from bondage in Egypt,
how much more those who were redeemed from the
bondage of Satan? This is why every year, we must
commemorate the day we were emancipated from
sin and also show appreciation for the love Our Lord

Jesus Christ has for humanity. It is at this time also

that we have to expatiate to you all the events of
that particular period.
We are not here to serve the government, man or
angel, but we are here to show appreciation for the
love our Lord Jesus Christ had for humanity. This is
an event which should not have a beginning nor an
end. It should be an infinite celebration by humanity
to show appreciation to God for the love Our Lord
Jesus Christ had for the sons of men. The lesson
says that it was two day to the feast of Passover and
I ask, count from this day and see whether it is not
really two days that is remaining in compliance with
what is read out.
The real day of the feast of Passover according
to the Jewish tradition is Friday and it was this day
that Our Lord Jesus Christ referred to when He said
two days to the day of Passover. Now if Our Lord
Jesus Christ celebrated the Passover on Wednesday
night, and thereafter he was arrested, judged, and
condemned to death on Thursday, do you not see
that the worlds claim that Our Lord Jesus Christ
died on Friday is wrong? As you have been told in the
scriptures, Saturday is the Sabbath, it means that

Friday is the day of Passover. The Jews never

wanted to crucify Our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday
which is the day of the Passover, nor on the Sabbath
day which is Saturday because there would be a
tumult and because of this anticipated tumult, they
hastened the crucifixion for Thursday.
IS THERE ANY GOOD FRIDAY?
Behold Our Lord Jesus Christ as the sacrificial
lamb for the Passover, and avoiding the anticipated
tumult that would occur on Friday, the actual day of
the Passover, they preferred the crucifixion to be on
Thursday. This is in conformity with the statement of
Our Lord Jesus Christ when He said that the nations
seek a sign and no other sign will I give them other
than the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah was in the belly
of the whale for three days and three nights, so shall
the son of man be in the heart of the earth for three
days and three nights.
So brethren, join me in counting the three days and
three nights. Thursday daylight is one day, Friday day
light is the second day, and Saturday, daylight is the
third day. Starting with the night, we have Thursday

night as the first night, Friday night, as the second

night, and Saturday night as the third night.
This is to re-emphasize that Our Lord Jesus
Christ is the Truth, and all He spoke are the truth.
This is also why the utterances of Our Lord Jesus
Christ are regarded as words of prophecy; and what
is meant by prophetic words are veritable truths.
There is no word uttered by Our Lord Jesus Christ
that will not be fulfilled. The world has turned this
truth upside down by saying that our Lord Jesus
Christ died on Friday instead of Thursday. Because
this truth is hidden from them and exposed to
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, they always
marvel at the mode Brotherhood does her things.
That was why Our Lord Jesus Christ said, But the
Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father
will send in my name, he shall teach you all things,
and bring to your remembrance whatsoever I have
said unto you. He said the Comforter, the Holy
Ghost will reveal His glory and the entire world will
know that the glory belongs to Him. This glory does
not belong to man or angel, but it belongs to the Son
of Man, the Son of God and God Himself. If this

knowledge had dawned on humanity, they would

have honored and kept this remarkable day.

fulfillment of the proclamation of our Lord Jesus
Christ when He said that the Comforter shall teach
you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. And
God had set some in the Church, first Apostles,
second Prophets, thirdly Teachers, after these
miracles, then gifts of healing, helpers of
governments, diversities of tongues (1st Corinthians
12:28) and this is what you are seeing today done in
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, falling in line with
what our Lord Jesus Christ had said when He said
that the:Comforter will open to you all the truth. All that you
have seen is the revelation of the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ, not the glory of anybody else. You
should not look for your personal glories but that of
Christ. What is done here in Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star is what had been done, it is what we
have to do and will be done forever.

It is sorrowful that many members of the

Brotherhood do not partake of the watch and pray
and the feast we conduct daily but they rather say
that God dwells in their hearts. Have you not heard
what he has said? He said whoever does drink of my
blood and does eat of my flesh will have eternal life.
Again Jesus said to His disciples: If you watch with
me for an hour and if you watch and pray you will not
enter into temptation. Watch out and pray so that
you will not enter into temptation. (Matthew 26:4041). Did the disciples not enter into temptation? Yes,
they did because they did not watch and pray.
Our Lord Jesus Christ was arrested at 3 a.m. on
Thursday, this is the reason we observe a vigil night
every Wednesday to watch and pray, at 3 a.m. on the
following day. From
3 a.m. until 6 a.m. Our Lord Jesus Christ was
tortured. This is exactly how we conduct our system
so that nothing is added nor subtracted. At 9 a.m. He
was nailed on the Cross and at 3 p.m., He shouted
and gave up His Ghost and finally at 6 p.m. His body
was removed by Joseph of Arimathaea.

If you take stock of what happened to Him on the

cross you will realize that our Lord Jesus Christ
deserves to be worshiped, honored and respected
and we should worship Him with reverence by
refraining from sin. Here in the Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star people say that we are worshiping
man. WE WORSHIP GOD, WE HONOR GOD.
If you say you are a Brotherhood and this night you
are not here, what Brotherhood are you? If you say
that you were here for the Pentecostal Assembly and
today you are partaking in the great feast which type
of Pentecostal were you coming to attend? Can you
now see people claiming to be in Brotherhood for
twenty years without deriving any benefit? If you
preach and teach others to practice same you are
the highest. Some Bethels do not keep Watch and
Pray at all, while in others they do it and stop at 1
a.m. Is that Watch and Pray? Some Bethels do it
without feast. Is that what I teach you? Is that Watch
and Pray? Even here before me some Pastors,
Apostles etc., do not come to Watch and Pray. Is that
the way you can reward Christ?

This manner of keeping Watch and Pray and

observing HOLY THURSDAY will continue
forever.
Dear brethren, I do not want to be tedious unto
you, those who have ears let them heat. May
God add blessings to His Holy words - Amen.
