Glasgows Nora Neumiller was one of the young hunters taking advantage of the
Youth Deer Hunt which took place this past Thursday and Friday as the kids had
no school. Nora bagged her first-ever buck, a mighty fine muley, with a perfect
shot in the heart with her .243. As you can see by her smile, theres no doubt
she is now hooked on hunting. Actually, Nora loves the sport of shooting, having
competed in the 2015 NRA/VFW Junior Rifle Postal Match (a match in which
competitors fire on their home ranges using targets which have been marked
for identification) this past April, representing the VFW Fort Peck Post #3107 in
Glasgow. Noras Dad Ray, her hunting guide last week, says hes going to have a
tough time topping her buck when the general opener rolls around on Saturday,
October 24th and concludes on Sunday, November 29th. Ray will probably have
to have Nora as his guide.

It was both an honor and a privilege to have been
involved in this extremely important discussion as an
advocate for affordable, advanced telecommunication
services for rural Montana. said CEO Kilgore.
Chairman Wheeler said it best: All Americans,
no matter where they live, deserve access to highspeed broadband so they can fully participate in the
digital economy. Thats why we have made it a priority
to expand broadband access in rural communities
CEO Kilgore stressed the importance of
the Universal Service and Mobility Fund to
Chairman Wheeler. Both are critical for rural
telecommunications providers such as Nemont to
continue to maintain and buildout networks to best
serve its rural customers.
Nemont Telephone along with its subsidiaries,
Project Telephone Company and Sagebrush Cellular,
serves around 13,000 SQ Miles of rural areas in
northeast and south central Montana including Fort
Peck and Crow Reservations. Nemont will continue
to work tirelessly to keep rural Montana connected
to the world with quality, advanced and competitive
communication services.
