Metal kept a tight focus:

• Most metal emphasis was on stainless-steel looks
• They applied equally to cookware and decorative accessories
• Shiny chromed looks meant a lot
• But brushed surfaces had an equally important role
• Iron continued, especially for outdoor products
• Powder-coated metal showed up here and there
• Copper with a weathered patina emerged simplehuman chose a
