Putthemalemetalliccontactsintotheplugandthefemalemetalliccontactsintothesocket:

Connectthegreycabletothepowersupply.Makesureyouareusingoneminusandonepluspole.
Followtheminuspolewireandmarktheendwithamarker:

Putthreeheatshrinktubingsoverthecablewiththeearthedwire.Soldittotheappliance
connector.Bluetoneutralbrowntophasegreen/yellowtoearth).Pullthewirethroughthecutout
Mainappliancelineplugofthehousing.Soldertwoshortwirestotheswitch(blue,Position2:
blue,Position3:brown).SolderthebluewireofthecablewiththeearthedwiretoPosition1.Protect
thesolderingbyusingtheotherthreeheatshrinktubings.Thepicturebelowshowsthecorrect

heatedbedonthesidewheretheLEDsare.Useposition2and3for24Vpower.Marktheminus
poleontheotherend.Takeathin(red)twinwireandsolderoneendtotheendofthelonglegsof
thethermocouple(Useingthelatestheatedbedwiththethermocoupleontheboard,solderthethin
wirestraighttotheconnectorsontheboard).Takethesecondredcableandsolderoneendofto
themetalcontactsandpushthemintothehousing:

thattheLEDsarefacingupwardsandcorrespondtothelasermarkings:


Tightenthenutswiththetabwashersontothescrews(youmayneedtobendthetabsabittogeta
tighterfit).BendthelegsofthethermocoupletoaVshape.Stickthethermocoupleintothethe
centerholeoftheheatedbedboardandfixitwithapieceofthermoresitanttapebyputtingthetape
betweenthelegs.Makesurethattheisolationofthecablesdoesn'ttouchtheboard:

onlytheleftandrightpin.Themiddlepinisnotbeingused.Ifyouprefer,useaconnector.Current

PlacetheUltimakerontheplainplainbaseandscrewthe4screwsintotheholesyoudrilled.
