LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES ENDORSE KRISTYNA MILLS


FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY
Watertown, NY The Committee to Elect Mills DA is excited to announce that Chief
Assistant District Attorney Kristyna Mills has received endorsements for Jefferson
County District Attorney from the following Law Enforcement agencies: New York
State Police Investigators Association, the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) of the
New York State Troopers, Inc., the Jefferson County Deputy Sheriffs Benevolent
Association, and the Watertown Police Benevolent Association (PBA).
As the Chief Assistant District Attorney for Jefferson County for the past 16 years, I
have worked diligently to foster a close, respectful working relationship with the law
enforcement officers who protect and serve our community every day. I have been
privileged to work side by side with them to investigate crimes and obtain the evidence
necessary to convict violent criminals in the courtroom, stated Mrs Mills.
Each of these Law Enforcement agencies endorsements speak to Kristyna Mills
character, service and leadership.
The New York State Police Investigators Association (NYSPIA) strongly
endorses Kristynas candidacy for Jefferson County District Attorney and they
say her record of service and experience as the Jefferson County Chief District
Attorney illustrates your dedication to justice and the security of the residents of
the County of Jefferson. They believe that anyone serving in the position of
District Attorney in Jefferson County must retain the character qualities of
fairness, reasonableness and integrity. They go on to say that they believe
Kristyna Miles demonstrates all these qualities.
The Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers,
characterize Kristyna as a tough prosecutor who makes special efforts to
support and seek justice for crime victims. They also believe that the
challenges facing members of the law enforcement community are greater than
ever before, and we need individuals like Kristyna Mills in leadership positions
to help law enforcement officers better serve the residents of New York state.

In their endorsement the Jefferson County Deputy Sheriffs Benevolent


Association recognizes Kristynas service and commitment to bettering our
community through her work overseeing the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force,
teaching at local Police Academies and lecturing community groups on the
dangers of drugs. They also recognize her years of service to the citizens of
Jefferson County, her successful prosecutions and her dedication on the job and
her willingness to make herself available to law enforcement members, both
day and night.
The job of District Attorney requires someone who has experience building
strong relationships within this community. In their endorsement the Watertown
Police Benevolent Association state that they believe that the working
relationships Kristyna has established with local law enforcement agencies have
provided an excellent working environment. The membership of the
Watertown PBA feels that fairness and integrity are key ingredients in serving
as District Attorney in Jefferson County. The membership of the Watertown
PBA believes Kristyna possesses the qualities necessary to become our next
District Attorney.
I am honored to accept the endorsements of these Law Enforcement agencies and look
forward to continuing to work with their members as Jefferson County District
Attorney. I pledge that together we will continue to protect the safety and well-being of
