Activities of the institutions on energy efficiency
Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia conducted a campaign on energy efficiency, "OUR ENERGY - OUR STRENGTH."
CeProSARD team prepared assessment and
proposed solutions for improvement of energy efficiency of a building in the Skopje Old Bazaar
The campaign aims to strengthen the capacity of
representatives from the public sector in the area of energy efficiency regulations and raising public awareness on the importance of energy efficiency in terms of quality of life, environmental protection, security of energy supply and preservation of limited natural resources. More information about the campaign can be find on the following link: http://energetska-efikasnost.mk/Default.aspx
Subject of the elaborate for energy efficiency is public
building of the Municipality of Chair located in the Old Bazaar within the urban block 3.2 (CP 6377). The building was constructed in 1963. The revitalization of the Old Skopje Bazaar implies its renewal and protection. Proper integration of the building is necessary in order to maintain the overall image of the Bazaar in the future, but it is also essential to provide conditions for the planned capacity of operation of the facility. Therefore, proper integration of the building in the existing setting must be taken as important as the provision of the necessary working conditions.
