What do you know about Mandela?

Mandela is a lawyer from South Africa that tried to protect human right for black
people because there white people have full power in government and they arbitrary to
black people. Because of this, Mandela do an activities to have life freedom there.
Mandela describes his upbringing as a child and adolescent in South Africa, and being
connected to the royal Thembu dynasty. His childhood name was Rolihlahla, which is
loosely translated as "pulling the branch of a tree", or a euphemism for "troublemaker".
When it charts the political education of its subject against a backdrop of hysterical
institutionalised racism. Mandela starts out as a wily young lawyer, audaciously
defending a domestic servant accused of stealing her mistress's knickers. Mandela
joined the African National Congress in 1950 and describes his organisation
of guerrilla tactics and underground organisations to battle against apartheid.
In 1961, Mandela was convicted for inciting people to strike and leaving the country
without a passport and sentenced to five years imprisonment. However, Mandela was
shortly thereafter sentenced to life imprisonment for sabotage in what was known as the
"Rivonia Trial. Mandela describes prison time on Robben Island and Pollsmoor Prison.
His 28-year tenure in prison was marked by the cruelty of Afrikaner guards,
backbreaking labour, and sleeping in minuscule cells which were nearly uninhabitable.
In the dock at Pretoria, Mandela says he is prepared to die for a free and
democratic South Africa. Instead, the authorities sentence him to life imprisonment and
fly him out to Robben Island where he and his fellow activists are dressed up like boy
scouts and ordered to break rocks in the yard. The decades crawl by and the man turns
to myth. He finds himself overtaken by his own reputation. He is forced to sit on the
sidelines, growing stooped and grey-haired while the struggle continues.

By the time Mandela is released from prison, the activist has become the statesman,
with all that this entails. He returns to the stage as a vessel of nobility, urging South
Africa back from the brink of civil war; preaching peace and reconciliation to both sides.
The film touches lightly on the friction his stance causes with his second wife (Winnie),
who has now become an active agent in the war against apartheid and is altogether
less willing to let bygones be bygones.
After take a long way, finally, Mandela get the results that he fought for it. Mandela
success brings South Africa be a peaceful country. No more war and no more cruelty
revenge. All South Africa people live peacefully. Mandela also elected as president in

the first election time. We know from Mandela that no one is born hating another person
because of the color of skin. People learn to hate. They can be taught to love, for love
comes more naturally to the human heart.
