The Government of Andhra Pradesh, in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (4) of section-14 of the A.P. Electricity Reforms Act, 1998
granted Provisional license to APTRANSCO for Distribution and retail supply of
electricity in the entire State of Andhra Pradesh with effect from 1st Feb 1999.
subject to rights granted to any other licensees, vide G.O.Ms. No. 11 (Energy
Pr.lll) Dt. 30.01.99. As per Terms of Licence (vide condition-12 under part-Ill)
the Terms and Conditions of Supply of erstwhile A.P.S.E. Board shall apply to
the consumers till the APTRANSCO prepares it's conditions of supply and
obtains approval of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Accordingly, pending approval of APTRANSCO's Terms and Conditions

of Supply by the Commission, the APTRANSCO is following the Terms &
Conditions of Supply notified by the erstwhile A.P.S.E. Board in B.P. Ms. No.
690, dt. 17.09.75 as amended upto 30.01.99. The said Terms & Conditions of
Supply as amended upto 30.01.99 are printed and circulated for use by the
staff and officers of the APTRANSCO and for information of the electricity
consumers and public.

PROCEEDINGS:
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 49 of the Electricity (Supply) Act,
1948 (Central Act. No. 50 of 1948), and all contractual, statutory and other powers,
hereunto enabling the Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board do hereby notify the
following terms and conditions of supply of Electrical energy which shall come into
effect from 20.10.1975.
2.

The aforesaid terms and conditions of supply are in supercession of the prevailing
terms and conditions and shall be applicable to all consumers availing supply of
Electricity from the Board.

3.

These terms and conditions are subject to revision from time to time as maybe
decided by the Board.
