This research is based on the patient's Post Operative Sectio Caesaria, with the
average number of 53 patients in month of the year 2012 the majority after the
surgery, the patient sectio caesaria says sleep patterns change, because it affected
level of pain.
Sectio caesaria is giving birth to an infant with a surgical way that penetrates
the abdomen and uterus incision with a sharp object. Sleep patterns is a situation
where a person experiences changes in the amount of sleep or rest. The level of pain
is an overview of how severe the pain felt by individuals.
This type of research with korelasional with cross sectional, a total population
in this study as many 40 patients, based on calculations of Accidental Sampling,
whereas samples using total sampling. Test the validity of the sleep patterns of 24
item 22 questions a valid item with a value of reliability 0,769. Analilis Point Biserial
Correlation using hypothesis.
Based on the research of Point Biserial Correlation bivariat analysis earned
value p-value = 0.71, this indicates that there is a relationship between the level of
pain with sleep patterns.
The level of pain disorders affect sleep patterns, then the intervention can be
done by providing the comfort of the patient's bed, in addition to rooms, nurses
perform wound care in the afternoon, so patients feel comfortable and reduce pain
levels during sleep.
