HEE provides leadership for the education and training
system. It ensures that the shape and skills of the future
health and public health workforce evolve to sustain high
quality outcomes for patients in the face of demographic and
technological change. HEE ensures that the workforce has
the right skills, behaviors and training, and is available in the
right numbers, to support the delivery of excellent
healthcare and drive improvements through supporting
healthcare providers and clinicians to take greater
responsibility for planning and commissioning education and
training.

12 months from date of appointment
The post-holders will be exposed to high level interaction
and decision-making within HEE and develop an
understanding of healthcare policy, education and training
reform, leadership, management and delivery. They will gain
an understanding of the delivery and formulation of
education and training end to end.
The post-holders will have the opportunity to work with and
be mentored by a range of senior staff including the Director
of Nursing for HEE and the Chief Allied Health Professions
Officer (CAHPO). There will also be the opportunity for peer
support with the AHP Fellow in place in NHS England.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety
of HEE delivery teams across England as required as well as
the new Commissioning for Quality programme of work.

Current registration with HCPC
1 or more years experience post registration experience
in any sector of practice
be eligible to work in the UK or participate in this scheme
