School Year
TEEN LEADERSHIP COUNCIL (TLC)

As a member of the CAC Teen Leadership

Council, you will meet once a month with other
high-schoolers from around the city to create
the arts programming you want. You will have
an insider look at how an arts center is run and
have the power to make it your own.
In return, you will meet and work with professional
artists and curators, gain real life experience in
marketing, budgeting, graphic design, and curation.
Participation in the TLC counts toward volunteer
hours and is a great program to have on your
resume for college.

TEEN ARTS INTERNSHIP

In partnership with the CAC's Summer Arts Camp,

Teen Arts Interns spend their mornings engaged in
intensive arts workshops and leadership training
sessions, learning the basics of what it means to be
a professional teaching artist. In the afternoons,
interns put what they've learned into practice while
working with the younger campers and assisting
teaching artists in the fields of Music, Dance, Theater,
Culinary Arts, or Visual Arts

SUMMER ARTS TEEN BOOT CAMPS

Two week-long arts intensive workshops in

Film Production and Fashion Design. Teens
can choose to participate in one or both weeks,
and workshops are taught by local artists Andi
Eaton (Southern Coalition of Fashion and
Design) and Zac Manuel (The Greenhouse
Collective).Limited registration.
Week One: Fashion Design (July 20-24)
Week Two: Film Production (July 27-31)
$75/week
