Introduction
The system design project, Enrollment System that will provide the needed
and storing information in a faster, more convenient way by storing file of
the student enrollees in a computer system that will lessen the effort of
faculty staff in storing files of each student every now and then. This will
also serve as information especially for the irregular students, freshmen,
transferee, and professor in able to get access in course, subject,
professor, and student enrollees.
This information here can be viewed in just a second without worrying that
a single file is lost. The idea behind an enrollment system is not a new
concept. As student enrollees increase every year, enrollment procedure
become harder to deal. This will only serve to increase the problem facing
enrollment that provides more easy way in enrolling.
This will also be a big help to all the enrollment staff especially under the
computer department because they are the one who are entitled to touch
and read the information from here. It will help our institution to have
another system that will upgrade the enrollment processes so as to meet
the quality that our institutions are trying to meet.
Grading System is designed to provide incentive reward for achievement
and assist in identifying problems of the student.
Grading System is the most commonly used in computing and analyzing
the performance, talent and skills of students. It is the important record to
keep even for the longest time for the referral and credentials of the student
to enter their next level of attaining their goals. It is the tract record that
recognizes of one student, this maybe use for analyzing of your attitude
and values.

Based on our research the school is using a manual computation of grades

of each student, which is the traditional use when technology is not yet
developed. Manual computation is very prompt to risk for any
circumstances. It is time consuming in terms of recording grades,
computation using of calculator. If some records are lost, they never
retrieve it in case of unexpected calamity. Accuracy and security is not
been so defined because of above risks. Thus, the proponents created a
system entitled Grading System, which is more accurate, efficient and
very easy to use and friendly user. To that, it will lessen their time and effort
for computing of grades.
And eventually they may avoid rushing
submission of grades. Grading System will help a lot in the part of teachers,
school, administration and as well as the security of data of students.
Today, the use of technology has been an effective tool on improving such
kind of enrollment and Grading System study, the use of Visual Basic 6.0
and SQL database will help to improve the efficiency of the enrollment.

1. Introduction
To implement the system as a web based system that can be accessed
through internet. 1 To create an online interface which students can use to
register online, submit assignment and check grades. To enable staff and
lecturers to use it as a platform to communicate with the students to pass
announcements and updates. To create a system which will store all the
details of the students and the staff thus eliminating the manual filing
system and making modifications of data easier. ABC campus
management system is an online system which will be used to manage and
facilitate the educational activities of ABC University. The system will help
the university to maintain students details as well as staff. In addition to
this, the system will work as a platform communication where lectures, nonacademic staff and students can communicate. Resource, announcements
and other important materials will be uploaded on the system. On the other
hand, student will use the system to register online and check their grades
without going to the registry office. By using this online computerized
system, the university will be able to save a lot of time and money since
tedious and manual work is eliminated. 1.1. Problem Statement It is very
time consuming and expensive to handle large number of students and
doing things manually will exponentially increase time and money spent on
it. More staff will be needed and the workflow will be very slow thus making
it very inefficient and tedious. The ABC University has realized the benefits
of computerized system to manage such a large number of students and
staff. It is expected that this new system will cater all the needs of the
university and enable it to save more money and time. In addition to the
previous two advantages, the main goal of the system is to make the
university day to day operations and functions faster, more efficient and
reliable. 1.2. Purpose (Objectives) The main purpose of this project is to set
up a complete computer based campus management system for ABC
which is more efficient and faster than the paper based system. The aim of
this is to utilize the power of computer based systems and overcome the
tremendous problems of manual filing system. 1.2.1. Sub Objectives:

1.3. Scope ABC-CMS is a web based system; therefore the project deals
the aspects of developing a complete website with many features and
pages. The system as mentioned will store all the details of the personal
but it is mainly dedicated to students. This means the details of the staff
related to the students in terms of teaching activities are included but other
things like salary and staff management (HR) is separate system. Hence it
is not included under this project. However, the system should consider all
the issues related to students including tuition and accommodation fees.
