What you need:

drinking straw
paper
ink or runny paint

What to do:

1. Using the straw, drop a few


colours onto your page in a
variety of places.

2. Holding the straw approximately


1 cm from the page, blow through
the straw in the direction you want
the paint to go.

3. Allow this to dry flat.


C otton bud painting

What you will need:

cotton buds
paint
paper

What to do:

1. Decide on a design which is suitable


for your page.

2. Dip the cotton bud into the paint and


draw with it as you would with a pencil.

3. Make sure you keep your cotton buds


separate in colours.
Spray Painting
1. Cut out your shape out of paper.

2. Lay this on a larger, blank page.

3. Now hold the spray bottle and squirt, all over the page until you are pleased with
the coverage.

4. Now lift up the shape and expose your pattern.


Bubble Pictures
1. Using a straw, blow into the container
until bubbles rise about 3 cm over the edge.

2. When the bubbles begin to fall over


the side, stop blowing and roll your paper gently
over the top.

3. Continue in this manner with as many colours


as you like and lay flat to dry so as not to burst the
bubbles.

What to do:

1. Cut your shape out of paper.

2. Lay this on a larger, blank page.

3. Load your toothbrush with paint.

4. Now flick the paint all over the page


until you are pleased with the coverage.

5. This can also be done with a spray - can.

6. Now lift up the shape and expose your pattern.
