1 Pursuant to Florida Statute 810.08 and 810.09, you are hereby
notified and warned that you are not authorized, licensed or invited to enter
upon any structure or property of the St. Johns County School Board, except for
the purposes specified in paragraph 2 below. Your entry or presence in or upon
any School Board structure or property for any other purpose will constitute a
trespass in violation of those statutes,
2. The notice and warnings above do not bar you from entering
School Board property for the following purposes (a) to attend School Board
meetings or other duly-noticed public meetings; (b) to submit public records
requests to the Community Relations Department at School Board headquarters
at 40 Orange Street; and (c) to drop off and pick up your children at District
schools. If you wish to visit your children’s schools for some other legitimate
Purpose, you should contact the principal, who will duly consider your request.
3. Furthermore, pursuant to Florida Statute 810.0975, the area within
500 feet of any school is designated a School Safety Zone. You are notified and
warned that you are not authorized, licensed or invited to enter or remain in
School Safety Zones surrounding District schools. If you enter or remain in a
School Safety Zone while school is in session, during the period from 1 hour
before the beginning of the school day until 1 hour after dismissal, your presence
will be unlawful under Florida Statute 810.0975. This warning does not bar you
from picking up or dropping off your children at school. If you contend you have

4. You may submit any request for public records to Christina
Langston, Emily Serrano or Danielle Cook of the District Community Relations
Department. They will promptly and properly process your request, including
arrangements for you to inspect and photograph records at the location where
they are kept.
