INTRODUCTION
Year 2015 (Wood Horse) is not really a fantastic year with negative news range from haze to
tsunami to bombing to plane crashes, which took many lives. I like to take this opportunity to
pay a minute of silent respect to the victims and their families. May the deceased rest in peace.
Ok! Would it not be good to know the usable and less usable areas in your house, be it to
improve wealth, relationship, career and health luck? Very often people emphasise more on
wealth and relationship and less on health. With current economy moving south trend, I guess
many would tighten their belt to save a penny here or there.
Coupled with extreme stresses lingering physically and mentally, it is crucial to retain a healthy
mind and body. Being the sole bread winner, you cant afford to be sick, dont you? If you do,
who is going to look after your family? So please stay healthy at all time.
For every problem there is cure. The cures need not be expensive like putting gold pagoda in
the house nor putting a tree legged toad at the door entrance. These stuff could cost from
hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Turning your house or office into a Chinese restaurant or a Madam Tussauds museum will not
bring any good luck. In fact, the more cluttered the house of office would be, the worse of the
luck you could have.
In Classical Feng Shui (CFS), we deal with locations, directions and time aspects. We want to
find out where the good energy stars resides and come from and when. I am very sure it will
not come from the pagoda or the frog or the waterfall pictures on the wall. And if it really does,
why are those stores selling it is getting less and less. This is no science but the art of common
sense. Remember this.
Ok, I hope we are on the same page now. Lets see what the Fire Monkey year 2016 flying stars
are like, where the good stars and bad stars are, what impacts the energy brings and how you
could benefit from good one or shield yourself from the bad one.
Please bear in mind this is a short term forecast which you can use for yearly planning and
strategizing goals. Once you finished reading, you would know what to do. You will not be

intimidated by the negative stars and importantly you will understand trinkets are nothing but
just decorative items.

Lets start with the negative stars first.
Among all stars, #2 BLACK (ILLNESS ) IN THE CENTRE is the major negative star. This is a
sickness star. Thats why it is common that we would see a year filled with illness and disease
in 2016. Remedy is easy, eat well sleep well and exercise more. For senior members in the
house you might consider schedule a routine check-up.
The second negative star is #7 RED (DISHARMONY),

WHICH FLY TO

NORTH sector. In

general, this star indicate bickering, medical problem, rivalry, disagreements, quarrel,
robbery, surgery and injury.
The third negative star is #5 YELLOW (MISHAP). IT OCCUPIES NORTHEAST SECTOR. This
star is fiery and you wish not to activate it. Let me repeat DO NOT ACTIVATE. So please do
not conduct renovation or ground breaking activities in this area.
Once activated, the problems manifested could be accident prone, money problems and
unforeseen circumstances. By all means, stay away from it.
If your house has these sectors, you are affected by these stars. However, the effects are not
the same for everyone and the effects render are not always negative. Not everyone would get
sick if they sleep in an illness room nor remedy is always required to cure the negative stars.
The point is, if you have strong antibody already, you dont need a vaccine. Thats how one
should engage with the energies. Some people are just more vulnerable or susceptible to the
energies than the others.

Tips
The key is to identify whether they are Sha Qi aka negative trigger points outside
the house that would activate negative stars resided in the house. These triggers
could be T-Junction, Pylons, a sharp neighbours roof or a lamp post. If such
triggers are not present, it is unlikely your house is affected by the negative Qi.

For example, assuming the 5 Yellow Mishap Star fly into your store room in 2016, it is not a
problem because you do not use the room often. Say if the stars fly into your bedroom and you
have no other rooms to go, you can still sleep there as long as no major renovations in the
Northeast.
If you have a choice, try not to use the sector for important activities. In such cases, you dont
need to remedy the sector. Leave the negative stars alone and they won't bother you. It is really
that simple.
In the case of the Disharmony 7 Red Star in North, although it is a negative star, it is actually
a WEAK negative star when it fly into the North sector (Water weakens Metal). Moreover, the
Disharmony 7 star combines with Jade star 3 in the Northwest sector.
Such Combi-10 in a Hetu Combi form already water down the negative effects that Disharmony
7 Red star brings. No cure is required. In contrast, it brings out the positive side of it like
communications and networking opportunities.

So, can I place my dragon or 3 head frogs at the door still?

Sometimes people get paranoia for not knowing what to buy & where to put cures. Thanks
to earlier misinformed or new age Feng Shui, it is understandable why they behave in such a
way. However, if you insist to put a cure for these negative stars, please refer to summary table
at the end of the guide.

Where are the GOOD Qi in 2016?

The positive stars in 2016 is the #8 White Star. It is Wealth star that occupies the South West
sector. If you house entrance or door is located here, you already enjoy good wealth luck for
the year. You might ask how? Well, by of 'stimulating' the flow of Qi by you daily using the
door, enter and exit the house through the Main Door, you are engaging in a Yang activity and
are already helping to activate the Qi.

see how you can tap its beneficial energy
with simple steps.
In 2016, for good stars, locate where
stars #8, #9, #1 resides. #8 resides in
Southwest, #9 in East, and #1 in

#9 (HAPPY) IS IN EAST
This is a happiness star which bring good news and happy events. What is it good for? It is
good for new ventures, business start-ups, and starting new directions for life.
This is also the secondary wealth sector. It signifies happy events like promotions, getting
marry, new-born. Those with office in the East sector would have higher chance for promotion
in general.
For those who are looking for new relationship luck, you could choose to sleep here if you have
room here. Business owners could tap the wealth energy by placing their door here or use
water feature such as aquarium to activate the Qi. The sector benefits Gua 3 and Gua 4 person
most.

#8 (WEALTH) IS IN SOUTHWEST.
This is the main wealth location for current period. If you have a door here but not being used,
this is a good year to use the door. A main entrance door here is good to enhance financial
prospects in general.
People walk in and out using this door will help to activate the Qi. No door, no fret. Just use
the area more. A friend asked what do you mean by use the area more? Well, use means
stay in the area read books, watch TV, work there, sing here, exercise here, and let your kids
play here. How hard can that be?
The secret tip is GOOD sector USE more, BAD one USE LESS.
For example, in office, use the area more for business meetings. Or put water feature to help
activate the wealth Qi. Same applies to home. If there is nice quality natural water outside, it
would be superb.
#1 (NOBILITY) IS IN THE SOUTHEAST.
This star favours those in literary and creative industry, career development and wealth
pursuits as well.
In office, using this sector could help to bring support from those above and below you. Your
hard work and effort would be recognised. It also brings nobility, which is chances to meet
new helpful people. If this is what you lack of, use this sector more.
Star 1 flies into Southeast 4 creating a 1-4 combination where water feeds wood. Such
combination comes every 9 years. In layman terns, this would greatly improve academic
excellence. If you want your children to score good grades, put them here to study.

#6 (AUTHORITY) IS IN SOUTH.
This star is good for authority, power and fame, advancement and promotion. Sleep here if you
have a room here, use the door here if you have one or put one here.
If you dont have either door or room here, what should you do? Yes, spend more time here.
For flying stars fanatics, the secret tip is connecting Southeast and South could bring both
nobleman and good career prospects.

#4 (ACADEMIC) IS IN WEST.
This area is good for academic and scholarly pursuit. It is good for children study and exams.
So, is good to position children study room here. It also help to improve connections and
relationship. If you want to write a book or look for inspiration, do it here too.

The secret trade is you dont try to improve everything. As I said earlier, you use
the stars to help plan and strategize the year based on what you want to achieve
~ your goals.
For example, if you are pursuing a big project where relationship matters and is
currently not steady, rather than activate star 8 for money luck, you should
activate star 4 at West sector in your house to improve relationship and
connections.
Likewise, if you like to improve career and authority luck, you should activate
Southeast and South sectors. Got it?

Afflictions for year 2016

Grand Duke aka Tai Sui is located at the SW3 area. This is also one of the inauspicious star
that once activated would cause mishaps range from accidents to health problems the
residents staying in the premise.
There should not be any massive activities such as renovation, ground breaking. The tip is
spend as little time as possible in this sector. You would ask hey isnt Southwest is the
auspicious wealth sector? Yes it is. The thing is the Grand Duke only takes up 15 degree (SW3)
of the whole Southwest.
Be it at home or office, try avoid this particular sector and spend less time here. Just needs to
leave this sector alone. If you cant avoid it, you should not face it at least when you sit. Is best
to back it so it could support you.
Next is the Year Breaker aka Sui Poh is another affliction for year 2016. This is located at the
NE3 sector and the 5 Yellow is also located in this area making the area worst of the lot. Once
activated it would bring disasters and the impact is lot worse than activating Grand Duke.
The third afflictions is the 3 Shas which is located in the South sector this year. If this is
activated, it would bring money problems, health related issues, robbery, surgery, and
accidents. It is best to leave this area alone.
In nutshell, you do should perform any massive activities in these afflicted areas in 2016. This
include ground breaking, renovation, drilling. If your neighbour is doing it, what should you
do? Make friends with them and buy them nice wines.
