ABSTRAK

Ducting atau biasa kita sebut dengan saluran udara merupakan media untuk
mendistribusikan udara dari dalam ke luar gedung atau dari luar ke dalam gedung.
Ducting dibagi menjadi 2 berdasarkan bentuknya yakni square duct dan round
duct. Selain itu, ducting dibagi lagi menjadi 4 berdasarkan fungsinya yakni supply
air duct, return air duct, exhaust air duct dan fresh air duct. Untuk mengetahui
ketebalan ducting yang digunakan maka perlu diketahui terlebih dahulu ukuran
ducting lalu disesuaikan pada tabel yang sesuai dengan standar PT. Indo Ducting
Primatama. Setelah itu menghitung luas bentangan sesuai dengan standar yang
telah ditentukan. Antara ducting satu dengan yang lainnya dibutuhkan joint duct
lalu diinsulasi jika supply dan return air duct. Setelah itu dibutuhkan aksesoris
dan support duct pada saat instalasi ducting di lapangan.Pada project perusahaan
tekstil biasanya membutuhkan buffle plate, side cover dan hanger buffle plate.
Selain itu, grille yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan berbeda-beda, tetapi untuk
perusahaan tekstil membutuhkan grille berupa outlet air. Lalu proses pembuatan
ducting secara umum dilakukan dimulai dari proses estimasi dan penawaran
harga, lalu proses sket dan nesting dan setelah itu proses pembuatan di pabrik.

ABSTRACT

Ducting is the instrument for to distribute air from inside to

outside building or from outside to inside buikding. Ducting
divided to two kind to be based on shape. They are square duct
and round duct. In addition, ducting divided to four kind to be
based on function. They are supply air duct, return air duct,
exhaust air duct and fresh air duct. Before you know thickness of
ducting that be used, so you must know size of duct and
adjusted from table that appropriate the standard of PT. Indo
Ducting Primatama. Ater that, estimate the area of spread duct
that appropriate the standard was determined. Between one
duct and another duct was needed joint duct then was covered if
it is supply arduct and return air duct. After that it was needed
another necessary and support for duct when installation of duct
in working area. At the project of textile company is usually need
the buffle plate, side cover and hanger buffle plate. In addition to
that, grille which was needed by company is different, but for
textile company needs grile namely outlet air. And then, the
general process of production duct was started from estimation
and price bargain, then make the sket and nesting and after
that, process of making the duct in factory production.
