1.1 QHSE Policy Statement

What
This QHSE Policy statement contains the commitment of Quippo management in implementing HSE
requirements in the organization and the arrangements made available to achieve the HSE objectives.
Who
The President
He will be responsible to establish and maintain the QHSE Policy and to develop the organization that
is needed to implement that Policy.
Vice President- Drilling Operations
He will ensure that the QHSE Policy is disseminated to all staff in Quippo Oil & Gas Infrastructure
Ltd organization and implemented through the HSE Procedures.
He will be responsible to maintain the QHSE Policy and to develop the organization that is needed to
implement the Policy.
QHSE Manager
He will ensure that the QHSE Policy is up to date and issued to all parties, and displayed prominently
at the work sites and offices.
How and When
Quippo Management has adopted 6 principles in the QHSE Policy to enable the company to conduct
their business without incidents and without causing harm to people. The principles are further
supported by Quippos HSE Standards.
On receipt of a new or revised QHSE Policy from the President, the Vice President (Drilling
Operations) will issue the policy to all relevant parties by means of HSE management Circular to
discuss and understand the contents.
The QHSE Manager will ensure that the QHSE Policy is being sent to the respective Rigs in operation
through HSE Management Circular with document transmittal to the respective focal points.
The QHSE Manager will ensure that during employee induction training programme, Policy is being
discussed with new employees & with sub contractor staff.

The Tool Pushers of respective Rigs will ensure that said QHSE Policy is discussed with their concern
staff through HSE meetings, internal meeting & regular tool box talk & make sure that employees
understand the Policy & implement it throughout the course of Employment.
All the Head of the departments will ensure that QHSE Policy is displayed in their offices and make
sure that their staff understand the Policy & implement throughout the course of Employment.
