TRAINEE ASSIGNMENT

FEEDBACK
I was entering this trainees programme in December 22 nd 2008. Before
that, I got 4 stage of interview. When I got my schedule in first day, I was very
surprised. There are 3 reason that make me surprised when I had my first day in
HR. First reason is very good thing that I have when I came to this hotel in my
first time. All of employee in Four Season were so respect with me. They give an
enthusiastic smile in my first day. This matter also go intomy senior in HR
Department. Bu Kadek, Bu Enong, Ade, and Pak Suma welcomed me so warmly
so in my first day I was think that I will get 6 months unforgettable memories in
HR Department. I still get the same thing with Bu Elisa and Bu Sri Nuka.
Second reason is I didnt have the orientation and the tour of the hotel in
my first day in HR. Very funny , huh ??? I was very laugh with this condition.
Thats very funny when you know that a person who get trainee programme in HR
doesnt know about the hotel where he will get his trainee programme in 6
months. Though, I have the responsibility to be a person who know all of
information about Four Season so I can tell other trainees. Thiss a serious
problem although I was very enunciated that my manager didnt have enough time
to give me a special orientation. Please forgive me And I hope it wont be
happen again in the other time.
Third reason is I didnt have a learning coaches or my learning manager so
I didnt know what thing that I must do in may first day. I just waiting my job
from my senior or from HR coordinator and their manager. It make me looks like
the most stupid person in HR Department in December 22nd 2008. I was very
embarasse in that day.
After I tell you about my surprising time, let me tell you about my next
days in HR. Ade as my senior give me a nice handing over. He tell me how big
my responsibilities in HR since the recruitment process, learning process, and the
exit process. I learned a lot of things such as how to make a good relationship

between me, HR, and all of employee. He told me how I can arrange the time for
interview, how to follow up the candidate, how to make a database, how to help
my senior in HR, and the most important is how to be a good trainee with the best
attitude. In this case, I want to say a very big thank you to Ade and I had say it
before with him.
All of employee in Four Season Hotel is very nice and kind people.
Although I found other employee that make me so scared but generally I feel so
comfortable in this situation in HR Department. There are 5 people in HR right
now not accordingly the trainee. There are Pak Suma (HRD Director), Bu Enong
(HRD Manager), Bu Sri Nuka (Learning Manager), Bu Kadek and Bu Elisa (HRD
Coordinator). All of them is very kind with me. But until now, I have been so
gauche with all of them except Bu Kadek. Yes, Bu Kadek Purnama is the only
person that I can trust to give my sigh or complain. She is the only person that can
smile when I give a joke. I never gauche when I greet Bu Kadek. And I will tell all
of my problem, all of my opinion about Four Season into this person.
How about Pak Suma ? I think he is very great and important person in
HR Department. So, I never make a mistake with him. I must say a formal
language when I make a communication with him. I must use a polite sentence to
greet him. And it made me scared when I meet him. And it was happen when I
meet Bu Enong. At first I want to make a joke with her but I still nervous when I
meet her and greet her. I think shes a busy person who cant reply my jokes. I
must use a polite sentence when I meet her, a formal attitude when I enter her
office. I think the real factor is because all of them is the persons who interviewed
me before I was hired in HR Department.
The last person is Bu Sri Nuka and Bu Elisa. All of them is still new for
me although she wasnt new for Four Season. I also still nervous when I meet
them. But I think I can make a good friendship with them because well work
together more than I do with other person in HR.
I think thats all about my feedback in my first month in HR Department. I
think Bu Sri will bore when she read this if I continue my sentence again. Please
forgive me if I make a mistake in this feedback or in my first month in HR
Department. I also say a huge thank you into all of persons in Four Season

because of your cooperation especially for all of people on HR Department. I

hope it ll still happen again. Thank you.
