When I Will Get Married ?

Hectic life at young age and other life style related problems have affected the marriage settlement of
youngsters. Those who are engaged in private sectors on in Multi National Companies spend most of
their time in settling themselves in career before taking a look at marriage. They find career more
important than marriage and thus marriage issue takes second seat for them. Result, the over-age
becomes a problem to find a suitable life partner. Both, girls and boys are facing this problem.
Generally, when they feel settled in their professions, they become choosy and demanding for
marriage partner which may be another reason for late marriage.
At this time, timing of marriage becomes more significant and astrologers are consulted to know when I
will get married? Whether, I will get married this year or not and so on.
To consider various aspect of marriage including timing of marriage requires a deep study of charts of
both.
Seventh house in the horoscope is considered for various marriage aspects like delay in marriage,
timing of marriage, compatibly, success of married life and so on. For this other aspects should also be
examined e.g. Navmansha chart and Major and Sub-period (Dasha and Antardasha) of planets and
transit of planets at a particular time.
So far as age of marriage is concerned, this is believed that if benefic planets like Moon, Venus,
Mercury and Jupiter are placed in seventh house or if these planets have connection with the lord of
seventh house, the result may be early marriage without any obstacle.
Likewise, if malefic planets like Rahu, Mars, Ketu, Sun or Saturn have any connection with seventh
house or its lord, the marriage is not only delayed but trouble in married life is likely to be faced by the
couple. Those who are Manglik should get married after attaining age of 27 years to nullify the adverse
effect of Mars. Saturn is the planet known for delays. If Saturn is placed in seventh house, the marriage
will be not only delayed but obstructions are also to be faced. Rahu makes it difficult to find a matching
partner and the native has to make extra efforts to find suitable match. Ketu disturbs the married life.
The result will be negative and complicated if two or more malefic planets have any connection with
seventh house or its lord. Aspect of benefic planets on seventh house or its lord can lessen the impact
of malefic effect.
Age of early marriage and that of late marriage depends on the status and changing environment of the
society. Today early age is 24-25, average age is 29-30 and late age of marriage should be considered
any age after 31.
Apart from Ascendant and seventh house, some other houses should also be analyzed for timing of
marriage. These houses are 2nd house of the chart for family life, 11th house for fulfillment of wishes
and 8th house for success of marriage. Transit of the lord of these houses in 2nd, 7th and 11th will
make it easier to pin point the timing of marriage. However, importance of dasha system cannot be
ignored to find out the timing of marriage. Particularly Major period (Dasha) of seventh house has

special effect on marriage. Lord of the planet who has aspect on seventh house or its lord should also
be equally considered.
Jupiter and Venus signify marriage and marriage related issues. Jupiter represents expansion and
growth and Venus as love. Both of these are significator for marriage. While transiting, if they have any
connection with seventh house or its lord, the prospectus of marriage goes up.
So far as the marriage of female native is considered, one should not forget to analyze the position and
strength of eighth house of her chart.
