collage with these topics with the title Color your life.

Description: Make a vase or bowl of thick cardboard.


In a brief introduction I introduce the paper artist Juice from Bangladesh whom I know personally. He works with a
special technique and we use his technique in this workshop. We are going to make a vase or bowl and then finish it by
painting it.

Create your own Avatar


Description: This workshop is based onphotography and you will make your own avatar.An avatar is the appearance of
a real person from flesh and blood in a virtual world.Theactual avatar is the little image or logo you can use on Twitter,
Pinterest, Instagram or your Facebook page. We startfrom with the principle of pixel art. The studentscreate their own
avatar based ona portrait.
Audience: Adults & Children
Duration: Two hours
Number of students: Maximum 25 students
Supplies: Computers, digital cameras, Internet, printer. In consultation with the school welook at what materials are
available schooland what should be rented or purchased if necessary.

Monotype
Description: A monotype or mono-print is a printing technique
where only one copy can be made. The print is created on a
glass plate with ink or paint. While the ink is still wet,
it is printed on paper so a second print isnt possible.

Illustrative design
Description: Want to learn illustration design? Express your creativity on paper? In this course on illustrative drawing
you will learn all kinds of different materialsand techniques. You will learnto visualizewhat is in your headand put your
thoughts on paper. You will develop your own style and differenttechniques, which Iwillintroduce.
In the end you will know what it takes to illustrate books, create drawings or pictures for brochures and also for products.
We will learn how to create with and without computer software.This course is for everyonewho is interested in drawing
and wants to learn different techniques and materials.
You will build yourdrawing skills step by stepanddevelopthrough different exercises your own style. Asanillustrator
you will learn to make your ownchoices and also learn why you do what you do.

Description: Brochures, advertisements, book covers, billboards,CD-ROMs, TV commercials, WebsitesEverywhere
you look, you see expressions invented and made by a graphic designer. As a graphic designer you are responsible for
the design and implementation of an idea that aims at commercialization.
Besides creativity, communication is also an important part of the job since even if you have great ideas, you also need
to convince the customerof those brilliant idea!
Thetopics as a concept, presenting and typography are important for a graphic designerand also the skills you need to
have to print your designs are all included in these lessons.We work with Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator
and Indesign.

Description: 45% of children aged 10 to 14 years will make their own site, according to research by Stichting My child

Urban Art: IntroducingGraffitidesign

This workshop is split in two parts: 1) I willtell about the history and development ofgraffiti along with the Style anddesign ingraffiti. 2) Designing your own tag.The purpose of a tag is the ability to publish it in visible areas so that as many
people can view the tag as possible. The more visible you are in public spaces the more recognition and fameis generated.

The workshops and guest lectures have a target price between 90120per workshop / lecture.
Note: For workshops whereinstruments (such as a printer) need be rented, additional fees will be charged. The exact
price varies per edition and is dependent oncustomizationand thespecificinterpretation.I set the final price by being in
consultation with the school and the variousparties.
Course packages:
6 to 10 lessons of 50 minutes.

Customized private art classes to fit any childs needs and interests!Jacqueline van der Venne offers 1 1-hour private art
classes for children. We will customize the curriculum based on
your childs needs and creative interests.
Lessons can include painting (oil/acrylic on canvas), drawing, printmaking, web design, computer, sculpture and many more projects.
The lessons can focus on either abstract or representational art.
Price is based on curriculum and art materials.
