Surety, do hereby bind ourselves and each of us and our heirs, executors and
administrators to pay, on demand, to Multan Electric Power Company Limited
(MEPCO), hereinafter called the MEPCO the sums indicated in the Appendix in the
events of any violation or non-compliance by the trainee of any terms & conditions
relating to trainees training in Pakistan. We do hereby further handover MEPCO our
following immovable property for the satisfaction of surety money + expenses born by
Mepco, in the event of our default in making payment to the Mepco of any sum indicated
in the Appendix.

We do hereby declare before the Magistrate Ist Class/Government Officer in BPS-18 that
we are solvent and in a position to pay, on demand, to the MEPCO the sum indicated in
the Appendix.
Now, the condition of the above written Bond is that if the trainee shall faithfully and
truly confirm to, and abide by the terms & conditions specified in the Appendix (unless
his services are terminated by the MEPCO on account of ill-Health or for any others
reason whatsoever) the bond shall be void and of no effect, otherwise, the same shall
remain in full force and virtue.

APPENDIX

i)

In case the employee resigns or leave MEPCO service at any time after joining or
during the period of his employment/training, he shall defray to the MEPCO the sum of
Rs. ____________ as liquidated damages, in addition to the amount of salary received
by the employee before or during his training plus expenses of his lodging and
boarding, if any, borne by the MEPCO.

ii)

In case employee resigns or leave MEPCO service at any time before completion of
01 (One) year service after acceptance of offer of appointment, he shall defray to the
MEPCO the sum of Rs. __________ (Rupees _____________________________) as
liquidated damages.
