Judul : Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Orang Tua Tentang Gizi Dengan
Status Gizi Balita Di Puskesmas Kintamani V
(xiv + 85 halaman + 5 tabel + 7 gambar + 10 lampiran)
ABSTRAK
Konsumsi makanan berpengaruh terhadap status gizi seseorang. Kondisi
status gizi baik dapat dicapai bila tubuh memperoleh cukup zat-zat gizi.
Pengetahuan kesehatan dan gizi merupakan faktor yang menonjol dalam
mempengaruhi komposisi dan pola konsumsi pangan. Berdasarkan studi
pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti pada tanggal 20 Januari 2013 di Puskesmas
Kintamani V, didapatkan data jumlah balita 1.258, terdapat 32 orang balita
mengalami gizi kurang (2,54%) dan 9 balita mengalami gizi buruk (0,71%).
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan
orang tua tentang gizi dengan status gizi balita di Puskesmas Kintamani V. Jenis
penelitian ini Deskriptif Korelasional dengan rancangan cross sectional.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan telah dilakukan di Puskesmas Kintamani V dengan
jumlah sampel dipilih sebanyak 43 orang, pada Bulan MaretApril 2013.
Hasil penelitian didapatkan orang tua balita sebagian besar yaitu 19 orang
dengan persentase sebesar 44,2% memiliki pengetahuan kurang. Status gizi balita
sebagian besar yaitu 22 orang dengan persentase sebesar 51,2% memiliki status
gizi baik. Hasil pengujian statistic dengan menggukanan uji Rank Spearman
didapat nilai nilai P = 0,016 (P < dimana nilai =0,05) sehingga dapat ditarik
kesimpulan ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan orang tua tentang gizi
dengan status gizi balita di Puskesmas Kintamani V.
Pengetahuan orang tua tentang gizi berhubungan secara signifikan dengan
status gizi balita. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan petugas kesehatan untuk
memberikan penyuluhan kepada ibu secara teratur setiap bulan sekali, khususnya
tentang kesehatan bagi balitanya pada pelaksanaan posyandu. Pelaksanaan
penyuluhan dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan demontrasi dan smiluasi tentang
makanan bergizi dan dilengkapi dengan media-media seperti leaflet dan poster
agar materi atau informasi yang tepat tentang gizi lebih mengena dan mudah
diingat oleh ibu

Title: The Relationship of Knowledge Level With Parents About Nutrition
Nutritional Status In PHC Kintamani V

ABSTRACT
Consumption of food affect the nutritional status of a person. Conditions
of good nutritional status can be achieved when the body getting enough nutrients.
Knowledge of health and nutrition is a prominent factor in influencing the
composition and food consumption patterns. Based on a preliminary study
conducted by researchers at the date of January 20, 2013 at the Community Health
Center Kintamani V, obtained data of 1,258 infants, toddlers there are 32 people
suffered malnutrition (2.54%) and 9 infants suffered malnutrition (0.71%).
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parental
knowledge about nutrition with nutritional status of children in health centers
Kintamani V. Correlational Descriptive type of research with a cross-sectional
design. This research has been carried out in health centers conducted Kintamani
V by the number of selected samples as many as 43 people, in the month from
March to April 2013.
The results showed the majority of parents toddlers were 19 people with a
percentage of 44.2% has less knowledge. Nutritional status of children most of the
22 people with a percentage of 51.2% had a good nutritional status. Menggukanan
statistical test results with values obtained Spearman rank test P value = 0.016 (P
< where the value of = 0.05) can be deduced that there is a relationship
between the level of parental knowledge about nutrition with nutritional status of
children in health centers Kintamani V.
Parental knowledge about nutrition significantly associated with
nutritional status of children. The result is expected to provide health care
information to mothers on a regular basis every month, particularly on the health
of their babies posyandu. Implementation can be done through education and
demonstration smiluasi about nutritious food and is equipped with media such as
leaflets and posters so that appropriate material or information about nutrition
more striking and memorable by mother.
