Set-up:
From the stored position (refer to figure 18), unlock both adjustable hinges by pressing

the palm buttons fully inward, as indicated in Figure 4. Pull the two halves apart until
the pins on both hinges snap into place and securely lock, (refer to figure 19).

Height Adjustment:

Adjust the height of one side of the ladder by pulling the locating pins out of the rung
holes on one sliding section of the ladder. Rest both locking tabs on the side of the
outer ladder (refer to figure 6). Firmly grasp the inner ladder section and carefully
adjust the outer side rail to your desired height. Securely lock both locating pins into
the rung holes (refer to figure 7).

The ladder is properly aligned when the ladder steps are level
as shown by figure 20.
For storage and/or transport, reverse the instructions above.

Never use the ladder in a stairway if steps are not /eve/. This

may cause you to lose your balance.

DO NOT ADJUST THE OUTER LADDER OR LOCATING

The Gorilla Mighty 13 and 15 Aluminium ladders have a unique design that allows the
ladder to be set-up in four different configurations: shown below. The adjustable outer
sliding sections and locking pins also provide four height adjustments in one-foot increments
on either section of the ladder (i.e. back and front legs).

Set-up:
Completely remove the outer rail section on each half
of the ladder. After removing the outer rails, open the
inner ladder assembly to the stepladder (A-frame)
position by pressing the palm buttons fully inward.
Rotate the ladder out until the hinges engage.

Set-up:

From the stored position (refer to figure 9), unlock both adjustable hinges by pressing
the palm buttons fully inward, as indicated in Figure 4. Pull the two halves apart until
the pins on both hinges snap into place and securely lock, (refer to figure 12 and 13).

The ladder has two adjustable hinges which allows the user to set-up the ladder in
3 different positions; Storage (figure 1.), A-frame (figure 2.), Extension (figure 3.).

To operate the adjustable hinges follow the steps below;

Height Adjustment:

To adjust the height of the ladder when it is in the step ladder mode, pull the locating
pins out of the rung holes on one sliding section of the ladder to unlock. Rest
both locking tabs on the side of the outer ladder (refer to figure 6). Firmly grasp the
inner ladder section and carefully adjust the outer side rail to your desired height.
Securely lock both locating pins into the rung holes (refer to figure 7). Repeat the
proces to adjust the same height on the other half of the ladder.

For storage and/or transport, reverse the instructions above.

Press both palm buttons fully inward as


indicated in figure 4, the red indicator
shows that the hinge is now unlocked.

Position ladder in the correct use or

storage position (refer above to figure 1, 2


and 3). The hinge will engage and the red
indicator will no longer be visable as
shown in figure 5.

Note: If there is any pressure on the hinge pins, the hinge will be difficult to unlock. To relieve any

pressure, jiggle one half of the ladder to take the stress off the hinge pins and align holes on the
hinge. The hinge pins move freely in and out when stress is relieved.

Note: Do not foce the hinge with any tools. Permanent damage to the hinge mechanism can occur.

Only light pressure is required to unlock when holes are properly aligned.

If more height is desired, unlock the locating pins and extend the upper section of

the outer ladder out until you reach the desired height. Securely lock the locating
pins into the rung holes.

To unlock pins, simply pull locking tab out and twist


slightly. This allows user to adjust to desired height.

AND RUNGS DURING ADJUSTMENT.

ALL FOUR LOCATING PINS MUST BE

ENGAGED BEFORE USING THE LADDER.
